Abu Dhabi: 7-stündige Wüstensafari mit BBQ, Kamelritt & Sandboarding

Salim Marshall is a top travel guide, especially the sand dune drive was fantastic!!! But also the fire show in the camp!

It's billed as a 7 hr "experience" but 3 of those hours will be stuck in a very hot and humid Toyota Land cruiser with 5 other people travelling to and from the venue. When you get there you'll get 10 mins going up and down the dunes trying not to throw up. Then you are dropped off at a large enclosed space to be hassled by vendors trying to sell you trinkets and trash. They try and sell you food even though you will be getting a BBQ 30 mins later! Almost everything costs extra. Camel ride - extra. Henna tattoo - extra. Photo with a kestrel - extra. Sand in a bottle - extra. You get the idea. Eventually the show starts which is one woman belly dancing for 10 mins followed by a bloke twirling around with lights for 10 mins. Then it's the buffet which was quite edible and nice but you have to buy any drinks other than the smallest cup of water you'll ever see. You then have the same bloke twirling fire around which is quite good. Then it's back in the car and 90 mins back to the hotel. Our original booking was for the day before but after waiting in the hotel reception for over an hour we found out via the hotel concierge and numerous phone calls that it had been cancelled! We rebooked for the following day and they eventually turned up 30 mins late and tried to charge us again on 3 separate occasions during the trip. Seriously unimpressed!

It was amazing! Great desert tour with quad tour, camel ride, dune bashing, barbecue, camel show, fire show. Mohamed Noushad is an excellent driver and tour guide and a very kind person. At the camp, they have the best photographer of the UAE and beyond. Got some really stunning pictures. If you are looking for a desert tour operator, don’t look any further. Everything was exceptional! The driver's professionalism and attention to tourists, the joy of meeting the camels in the desert farm and especially the entertainment program and traditional dinner in the desert village. Congratulations to the organizers!

Our driver, Eid, was the best! My daughter was not feeling well and he was attentive and did a great job checking in on us and so compassionate!

Great trip - half day. It was easy to book, fast communication. Our driver Thahzi, was amazing. We had fun in the Dunes and enjoyed everything ATV, camel and sand boarding.

Most memorable part was the desert itself, because we have never been there. Our family liked the whole package very much: dune rally was exiting and adrenaline-rising; food in the camp was good, with a lot of choise and we also liked the show (dances etc). For us this all was very exotic. Thank you!

The whole event was amazing. Everyone who was there should definitely do it. Everyone at the event took great care of us and the others. Everyone was really nice and the ride was a lot of fun. Better than any fair. And we arrived at our destination just in time for sunset. You have to see a sunset in the desert. The buffet in the evening was absolutely delicious. Booking was really easy and we received immediate confirmation of the trip including the pick-up time. An event couldn't be better organized. Thank you so much for the great day.
