Von Ihrem Hotel in Beirut werden Sie mit einem Lächeln morgens um 8:15 Uhr für eine Tagestour abgeholt. Reisende werden die alte phönizische Stadt Sidon erkunden, die von großem religiösen, politischen und kommerziellen Wert für die Region ist und seit 4000 v. Unser erster Besuch in Sidon ist das Crusaders Sea Castle.
Danach und zwischen dem Seeschloss und dem Landschloss ("St. Louis" -Schloss) erstrecken sich alte Souks (Märkte), die ihre schönen Gebäude und ihre kommerzielle Rolle bewahrt haben. In der Nähe werden ein Reparaturprozess sowie kleine Handwerksbetriebe beobachtet. Im alten Souk gibt es gewölbte Gassen mit einer Länge von 14 Kilometern und unweit des Seeschlosses befindet sich der malerische Gewölbesouk von Sidon, in dem noch immer Handwerker tätig sind. Am Rande des Souks befindet sich ein traditionelles Kaffeehaus, in dem sich männliche Kunden treffen, um den Narguileh (Wasserpfeife) zu rauchen und türkischen Kaffee zu trinken. Die Fischer verkaufen ihren neuesten Fang auf dem Markt in der Nähe des Hafens, nicht weit vom Eingang des Souks entfernt. Wenn Sie den el-Shakiriyya-Markt betreten, finden Sie den Debbaneh-Palast, wo eine überdachte schmale Treppe zum Innenhof des 1721 erbauten alten Gebäudes führt. Das Gebäude hat seine osmanisch-arabischen architektonischen Merkmale bewahrt.
Dann die Reisende zu einem Museum zeigt die Geschichte der Seifenherstellung in der Region geben werden, seine Entwicklung und Herstellungstechniken werden wir ein Beispiel dafür, wie traditionelle Olivenöl Seifen sind aus sehen und über die Geschichte des „Hamam“ (Bad lernen ) Traditionen. Ein historischer Teil des Museums führt Artefakte, die während der Vor-Ort-Ausgrabung und die umfassen Reste von Thonpfeife Köpfe aus dem 17. bis 19. Jahrhundert sowie Keramikscherben gefunden wurden. Das Museumsgebäude ist eine alte Seifenfabrik aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, die jedoch Teile aus dem 13. Jahrhundert enthält.
Die Große Moschee, ehemals die Kirche des Hl. Johannes der Hospitalisten. Die vier Wände dieses rechteckigen Gebäudes (das kürzlich in seiner natürlichen Schönheit restauriert wurde) stammen aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Ursprünglich eine festungsähnliche Kreuzritteranlage mit eigener Kapelle, ist sie immer noch ein imposantes Bauwerk, vor allem vom Meer aus gesehen.
Der Khan El Franj ist einer der vielen Khans, die Fakhredine II für Kaufleute und Waren gebaut hat. Dies ist ein typischer Khan mit einem großen rechteckigen Innenhof und einem zentralen Brunnen, der von überdachten Galerien umgeben ist. Der Khan, im 19. Jahrhundert das wirtschaftliche Zentrum der Stadt, beherbergte auch das französische Konsulat.
Nach khan al Franj, werden wir in das Dorf Maghdoucheh fahren, besuchen die Reisenden unsere Lady Wartet auf die eine Melkite griechisch-katholische Marienheiligtum und eine Höhle ist, und die auf 1721 entdeckt wurde, die Reisenden durch den Schrein gehen wird, die besteht ist mit der Statue der Jungfrau mit dem Kind, eine Kathedrale, einem Friedhof und eine heilige Höhle eines Turms gekrönt glaubte derjenige zu sein, wo die Jungfrau Maria ruhte, während sie für Jesus wartete.

Anschließend besuchen wir das Unesco-Weltkulturerbe in der Stadt Tyre aus dem 2. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Es gilt als eines der größten und am besten erhaltenen römischen Hippodrome dieser Art in der römischen Welt Die rund 480 Meter lange und 90 Meter breite Struktur in Hufeisenform bietet Platz für 20.000 Zuschauer, die sich versammelten, um den todesmutigen Sport des Wagenrennens zu verfolgen.
Die Al-Bass-Stätte beherbergt eine byzantinische Straße, einen Triumphbogen aus dem zweiten Jahrhundert, eine römische Straße mit einem Aquädukt und die Überreste eines riesigen aus dem zweiten Jahrhundert

I booked this tour with Lebanon Local Tour with Harake as a tour guide and it was absolutely incredible. We visited Sidon and Tyre and the experience was rich of history and hidden gems. We also got the chance to visit the Souk were we found amazing people selling their local products. The south of Lebanon is so rich in terms of history and cultural heritage; people were simply amazing - so kind, welcoming and generous. We had also the chance to visit Maghdouche - Our Lady of Mantara (Awaiting Church) - a place full of emotions and positive feelings. Our tour guide Harake was incredible. I don't have enough words to explain how kind, respectful, positive and gentle he was. He helped us out throughout the whole day and was always available for every request we had. He told us precious info about the history of Lebanon and everyday life experiences and explained us each site we visited. I cannot thank him enough about the day we spent together and I highly reccomend him as a guide because he was a true positive resource.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful day touring South Lebanon with Harake! He took us to Sidon and Tyre, gave us plenty of time to explore, shop, and enjoy walking by the shore. The sights were great but our supposed to be tour guide only acted only as a driver. He did not really provide any tour guiding in Tyre archeologigal sights and Sidon sea castle. He just drove us to the sights and we walked by ourselves in Tyre archeological sights and Sidon sea castle. Our contract was for an English speaking tour guide not an English speaking driver. He was also going to omit some sights which were in the program and he insisted they were not included. So i showed him what i copied from viator ad - Dubane Museum. Eventually he did but we had to retrace our steps as we passed it completely. He did not bring us to the Franj hotel and and Grand Al oman mosque. He just pointed it to us from the street. He walked with us to the souk, soap museum and the magdouche basilica but just walked with us. No commentaries or tour guiding given.

We booked very last minute a tour with Lebanon Local Tour and they were kind enough to assist us. We did a daily tour to Sidon and Tyre, with Ahmed as our driver. While he didn't speak too much English, he was an excellent driver, super friendly and a great company for our daily trip. There was lots of flexibility around the schedule, we could take all the time we needed to enjoy everything we saw at our own pace, while not missing any of the must see spots. He showed us around in the market of Sidon, helped us buy delicious food from street posts and nice souvenirs. This tour was great! It was just me and Ali my tour guide, he was on time, very professional and made sure I enjoy it to the fullest and at my own pace. Just a five - minute drive from the Hippodrome are the seaside Al Mina ruins. The bulk of the Roman ruins are a series pf columns on the seafront. You can pay 120,000 LBP to walk through this beautiful ancient site and take some amazing pictures. The site is open daily from 8;30 am until sunset.

Several historical and cultural places in one trip (souks, castles, ancient ruins, places of worship etc). Great views. Easy transfers between them. No problems.

The driver has been very friendly and very polite and eager to answer all my questions however the service I have received it's a transport service and not a guided tour there is no experienced leader as written in thr tour description I booked a small group tour and I was only myself it didn't worth the 90 euros I have paid the description of the tour is misleading
