We had such an awesome experience horseback riding! From start to finish, the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They made sure we felt comfortable and safe the entire time, and you could tell the horses were well cared for. The horses were great, calm, and easy to ride, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was attentive and made everything fun and stress-free. We had such a good time and made some amazing memories during our ride. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area and looking for something fun and memorable to do!

The guides weren’t too professional

A truly amazing experience. Horses were healthy, well looked after and knew instinctively the riders capability. We walked, trotted and centered across the sand. Views were beautiful and cannot fault our guides. Oscar was a charming host at the Rancho too.

At the ranch, we received a brief safety lecture, helmets, and two guides for our group of eight. The ride itself was enjoyable and lasted about two hours instead of the one hour advertised. There were some safety concerns. The horses sometimes walked too close together, causing the stirrups to rub and nearly knocking off my shoe. The guide stopped promptly when I alerted him, but more space between horses would have been safer. We also passed road construction with heavy machinery and nearby traffic, and the riding paths contained trash, coconut debris, and fallen branches. At the shoreline, the incoming tide and soft sand made the beach portion nerve-wracking, and my horse did not want to enter the water. Thankfully, everything went smoothly overall. Because it was very hot, all guests should have been provided with water. If you want additional photos, bring your own phone or camera, but secure loose items carefully so they do not fall while riding. The photography package was disappointing. We paid $120 which was initially priced for $132, I was told there were 86 photos, but many were duplicated 5 times, with nly one photo on a horse at the ranch. only 4-5 poses by the beach and only three videos. There were no photos with the horses in the water. The included photo magnet was a nice idea, but it felt cheaply made and came apart by the time I got home. We were also strongly encouraged to buy a personalized bottle of Mama Juana, which we could not take home in our carry-on luggage. The souvenir shop had no marked prices, and we were initially quoted $120 for three wooden items before negotiating the price down to $60. The ranch manager was persistent and pressured us to pay in cash, even though we had already spent most of ours on photos and tips. Overall, the horseback ride was fun, the guides were helpful, the horses were well behaved, and the experience lasted longer than expected. I would recommend it, but the company should improve path maintenance, horse spacing, shoreline safety, access to water, photography quality, and its approach to upselling. Bring enough cash if you plan to buy photos or souvenirs, and expect some pressure to purchase extras.

The horseback riding was super and the beach route was fantastic! The staff were very attentive to everyone. The only negative is that they push hard to sell photos. The pictures are great, but way too expensive, so we didn't buy any. They would probably sell more if they lowered the price. Still a wonderful experience!

Had a fantastic time on this experience MAINLY because of our guides, they were funny, kept the horses in line, and made the experience THE BEST. They had great jokes and kept the mood light-hearted. If you can go with a group that's SMALLER than 5 people, you're WINNING because it's more intimate and manageable that way. Would HIGHLY recommend for the price - as it included pick up from our AirBNB as well.

Absolutely magical horse riding experience. The horses were beautiful, healthy and clearly very well cared for. We loved every minute of it. The only downside was the photos. $190 for digital pictures and four short videos is extortionate, and we weren’t told the price beforehand. Had I known, I would have taken my own photos. When we declined the package, the reaction made the ending feel a little uncomfortable, which was a shame after such a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend the horse riding, but guests should be made aware of the photo prices beforehand.
