Abenteuer Rafting Klasse III und IV in Tenorio River von Playa Tamarindo

First time rafting and let me tell you it was soo much fun! We had the BEST guide “Mario” who is a professional and made this experience memorable. Now, we did fall a few times but that was part of the experience which made it more fun! Highly recommend it you won’t regret. Pura Vida!!!

White water rafting on the Tonorio River with Tenorio Adventure was an unforgettable experience. Jason and Brian, our guides, demonstrated remarkable expertise. For all of us, this was a truly memorable experience. According to the girls, it was the best part of our trip yet! Great tour and excellent guides. We went in the dry season and it was primarily class 1/2 with just a few big drops at the end that merit 3/4. A very fun trip and was well organized but left a little disappointed in the actual river difficulty based on how they marketed.

This is the second time we went on this trip. These guys are professional and friendly, they have good equipment, and make it really fun. We had Juan taking us down the river and he was amazing. Obviously very experienced and great communicator. Thank you for a great adventure!

This is a once in a lifetime experience. Celebrating our boys birthdays and this was on their list of wants. Our guides jason and Joseph were very knowledgeable, safe and entertaining. We felt very safe with us being beginners. I will highly recommend and will love to come back.

We had the owner Chuy and I can’t be more thrilled about the experience we had today! Jose the driver picked us up early in the morning and pulled over to show us monkeys and crocodiles, also buying us fruit from a fruit stand during route! Jose is the best driver!!!! We took this excursion from the JW Marriott Guanacaste. Then Chuy made us laugh the whole time! We saw Macaws and Toucans, Kingfisher, snakes, fish, a ton of butterfly’s, heron, and felt like we really got the Costa Rica experience. They feed you a delicious lunch which you can opt in to buy a beer while resting after your two hour rafting trip. If you are smart you’ll book this trip, the river was intimidating at a few spots but beyond that was accessible to most!

We took our three college aged children on this adventure and had an amazing time. Everyone enjoyed it, it was exciting but not over the top. The guides were great, knowledgeable and very friendly. There can only be 4 people and 1 guide in each raft, so we were split up, which actually worked out good. They kept our 2 rafts close to each other, so we always had them in sight. The kids loved it, we loved it. Be prepared for some travel to get there and back from Tamarindo, but everyone agreed the ride was worth it.

Mario our guide was very attentive and took extra care to ensure we had a great time but were safe Lunch was very tasty and guide pointed out wildlife during the day

Overall, it was a great experience! I do think that the safety concerns should be reviewed more thoroughly by the staff. It would also be nice to have a guided tour as we drive along the coast.

We had a great time with Mario and his team. Mario is very experienced and able to navigate a technically challenging river. He is also very funny and knowledgeable about the wildlife and plant life we encountered. Really fun and beautiful trip. Not the biggest rapids during the dry season but still good fun. Great for beginners and more experienced people.
