Wir holen Sie um 09:00 Uhr von Ihrem Hotel/Apartment ab und hier beginnt Ihre Reise. Unser erster Halt ist im örtlichen Dorf, wo Sie die einmalige Gelegenheit haben, die traditionelle Bäckerei vor Ort zu besuchen und traditionellen georgischen Käse und Brot – Shoti – zu probieren. Anschließend erkunden wir Höhepunkte von Kachetien wie Sighnaghi – die Stadt der Liebe und das Nonnenkloster Bodbe mit seinen faszinierenden Ausblicken.

Das dem Heiligen Nino geweihte Bodbe-Kloster befindet sich in Bodbe, 2 km von der Stadt Sighnaghi in Kachetien entfernt. St. Nino ist eine sehr wichtige Heilige für Georgier, da sie im 5. Jahrhundert das Christentum in unserem Land verbreitete. Die letzten Jahre ihres Lebens verbrachte sie in Bodbe. Deshalb haben Georgier den heiligen Nino in diesem Klosterkomplex begraben. Heutzutage kommen viele Leute, um ihr Grab zu sehen, da dieser Ort sehr wundersam ist. Sie werden viele Menschen sehen, die mit Tränen von dort herauskommen, und viele Geschichten hören, die erklären, wie ihre Wünsche in Erfüllung gegangen sind. Dieser Ort birgt viele Geheimnisse und Geschichten. Sie werden es bereits spüren, wenn Sie den wunderschönen Garten mit Blick auf das Alazani-Tal betreten. Die Nonnen, die dort leben, kümmern sich darum und versuchen, es so schön und grün zu halten, wie es zu Lebzeiten von St. Nino war.
Sighnaghi ist eine kleine Stadt im Osten Georgiens am Berghang in der historischen Region Kachetien. Es wurde im 17. Jahrhundert während der Regierungszeit von König Erekle II von Georgien gegründet und ist, wie die Einheimischen sagen, die einzige Stadt in Georgien, die mit einer Befestigungsmauer, die eine der größten Mauern der Welt ist, vollständig erhalten ist. Die große Mauer ist mit 27 Wachtürmen und 6 Toren gekrönt, durch die Reisende den herrlichen Blick auf das Alazani-Tal genießen können. Das neue Leben von Sighnaghi begann 2007, als es sich in eine europäische Stadt verwandelte. Die Architektur mit engen Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen und schönen Balkonen wird Sie nicht gleichgültig lassen. Die Stadt hat zwei zentrale Plätze mit einem Hochzeitshaus, auf denen Paare zu jeder Tageszeit heiraten können. So wird Sighnaghi die Stadt der Liebe genannt. Sie finden viele gemütliche Orte, Hotels und Herbergen nach Ihrem Geschmack, Straßencafés und Restaurants, in denen Sie die hausgemachten kachetischen Weine probieren können: Saperavi, Kindzmarauli, Rkaciteli, Mtsvane… Es gibt eine lange Liste.

We had a great tour with Luka who was charming and knowledgeable. He took us to visit a number of wineries where we learned about and samples some excellent Georgian wines. Along the way we learned a bit about Georgian history and culture. It was a full day out but the time passed by quickly.

Luka was amazing, and I had a wonderful tour. We went all through the wine region of Georgia and to see the beautiful country side. Luka was very attentive and explained everything super well. He took me to many locals houses to try their wines and bites. Tour took in total 7 hours. At the end of my trip I left my jacket at a restaurant in Tbilisi. After I left the country, Luka was so kind to retrieve the jacket and ship it to me. Thank you to Luka for making my Georgia experience so wonderful ☺️🩷 I cannot recommend enough!!!

Pick up by Luka was on time and well organized. It was nice to be flexible with our stops and move the wine tasting to the end it was less crowded and we felt like we could talk to the tour guide more than if we were mixed with a huge group. We loved seeing the farm for the bread and cheese tasting, the view points were great and Luka made sure to find a certain preserve I was looking for while we were on our tour and I’m so happy to have it. The convent was beautiful and so was Sighnaghi. It made me want to come back to Georgia and explore more small towns and see the countryside. The nature is so beautiful. I highly recommend this tour!

What a great two day trip! From the monastery, to the tours of wineries, to the cooking class, to the amazing scenery of Kakheti, Luka and his team figured out a way for me to see a maximum slice of Georgia in a minimal amount of time. Mancho, my driver, was much more than just a driver — played great music as we drove, engaged in great conversation, and was there every step of the way to help out with finding lodgings and communicating with others. My friend and I did the private wine experience together. We had a wonderful time. We tried wine at so many places. Luca had a lot of knowledge about wine and he gave us a very authentic wine experience. I will always recommend everyone to book tour thru this agency.

I booked Lela’s tour 2 weeks before my arrival in Georgia and it was such a wonderful experience! She responded promptly and professionally! My guide that day, Mirian, was very kind, speaks very well english and very accommodating! Because it is a private tour, you can take your time and visit the touristic point at your own pace! Mirian was very knowledgeable and guided me when buying wine, cheese, local sweets etc! I really enjoyed the tour, well organized and professional! One thing that I am grateful for to Lela is that in Gudauri, she helped me find a great local Tour guide to take me to Kazbegi! I appreciated very much her willingness to help and kindness!
