I was in Manaus for work and had a half day free before a late afternoon flight out. I was picked up at my hotel and driven out along the Rio Negro. We met the larger but small group at a convenience store, where we were able to purchase anything we wanted or needed. The other members of the group got in one canoe, but I was ushered into another. As I was the only one in the group taking a half-day trip, and I was getting a personal tour of the Amazon! We traveled up the Rio Negro and saw a variety of flora and fauna. We trekked through the jungle, where I learned how native people survive in the rainforest. Before my personal shuttle back to Manaus airport, I was treated to a delicious lunch of Tambaqui at a lodge along the Rio Negro. I would highly recommend this trip if you are looking for an Amazon experience in Manaus.
Hello, thank you very much for traveling with us We are wating for you for other adventures.
Fantastic experience. Francisco is the best, most knowledgeable guide I’ve ever had. His insight to the plants and animals is detailed, understandable and educational.

This was a fantastic tour. Although it was advertised as a 4-hr hike in the rainforest that starts at 9am, it was more like the 8-hr Amazonas jungle trek & Anavilhanas archipelago tour with a hotel pickup at 7:30am. Francisco was our guide. He was very engaged, and extremely kind (he gave his only raincoat to my daughter, who had forgotten hers, when it started to rain heavily on our rainforest trek) . We had a simple but delicious lunch, where they served us the piranhas we had caught just a few moments ago. On top of all that, Francisco had such a joyful presence and a contagious laughter. I highly recommend this tour.

The experience was amazing. All very well organized and fast. I definitely recommend it. It was one of the best experiences swimming with dolphins.

What a fantastic experience! This tour ends up taking a little longer, because your guide really lets you see and experience nature up close. You really get an authentic tour, no other boats come here with tourists. So don't hesitate, but book this tour. This is nothing boring with the tourist traps (the tours from the harbor that go up the river en masse with boats full of tourists and have to wait for other tourist boats at every stop). With this tour you will fish for piranhas in a secluded spot in the mangrove forest from your own boat, you will take a mighty boat trip through nature and see the animals up close, you will have lunch at the guide’s house - very private and secluded in the middle of the jungle / river. Then you walk with him through the jungle and he will teach you all about plants and animals that live there. Paolo the guide is a warm personality full of humor! He will take you to the hidden places and really give you an authentic experience of the nature and history of the Amazon! Our children of 14, 12 and 3 loved it too!

I loved the tour of the Anavilhanas archipelago. The guides were great and the landscapes cut by the River Negro are lush. I considered as a highlight the walk in the forest conducted by Paulo, from the community of Ariaú. On the journey, both by boat and on the trail, he shared incredible knowledge of this Mood that contributes to conservation. The homemade lunch at your house was delicious and I felt very well received in this experience. I recommend for those who like connection with nature and the culture of the local communities. Excellent and amazing tour! A guided walk through the Amazon Forest, full of surprises. Beautiful waterfalls and spectacular scenery. I loved!

An amazing experience! I toured with my 60-year-old dad and 29-year-old me, and we were both fascinated. Daniel, our guide, was excellent: he has an impressive knowledge about wildlife and nature, and his layout was excellent throughout the tour. We saw dolphins, alligators, monkeys, sloth bears, butterflies, many birds and much more. The tour description doesn't do justice to how amazing it actually is! In addition, we had the opportunity to swim in the river and catch piranhas. The tour lasted more than 4 hours, starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. I highly recommend it!
Pick up on time and there's a flexible regarding the drop off time and location. The guide is very friendly and speaks English very clearly. Showed us a lot of plants and we learned a lot
