Abend im Schloss Schönbrunn in Wien: Abendessen mit 3-Gänge-Menü und Konzert

If you are imagining the elegance of the era in which these compositions of Mozart were created , you will be terribly disappointed .skip the lack luster dinner in surroundings that can generally described as cafeteria / warehouse like. After this hugely disappointing meal , you then have to walk a quarter of a mile outside the main gate ( which we were not told through the booking ) to a green door which take you to a small sparse performance space …..totally lacking in elegance. The orchestra was magnificent , which cannot be said for the conductor. The musicpieces could have been so much more appreciated had the conductor at least said the name of each piece and added a bit of information about the history of the piece . We did Strauss and Mozart and neither one was properly introduced .If I wer to do more of these I would definitely look to more dramatic or appropriately ekegant venues

Music and setting were great. Very entertaining. VIP was worth the extra cost. Easy admission. Food was mediocre. Venue was beautiful

Great show. Not too long, very lively and entertaining. Beautiful setting in the castle. Lots of beautiful rooms and art works.

The restaurant had great service and the show was wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that visits Vienna.

Great show. Picking up the tickets was a little hassle as we came in the palace grounds and no one properly knew where to obtain tickets (somewhat understandable given the size of the grounds and the collection location). The meal was satisfying although rather basic but servers were very friendly. The show was very good and very entertaining with talented performers. Would recommend

The concert in Schönbrunn was very nice. The dinner only average. There is definitely room for improvement.

It is overrated based on what someone expects to see and to hear. The chair distribution is unacceptable creating many rows where only the expensive front vip rows have better view and acoustical access to the concert. The diagrams given when you buy the tickets are unclear

It’s a beautiful palace and performance theater. However unless you have VIP or category A seats, it’s hard to see the performance. The theater is rather narrow and can only accommodate around 15 seats per row. The music was good, but the singers could have performed with more volume and passion. Also, I think it’s petty that the palace charges you to hang up your coat (which you have to do) even if it’s a small amount. Dinner beforehand was excellent at Cafe Gerstner which was the highlight for the dinner+concert package. All in all it was a positive experience, but not worth price of admission in my opinion.

Everything is perfectly arranged. Good food and a nice performance. All this in a Christmas atmosphere with a nice Christmas market on site.
