Didn’t quite work for me. I thought the guide made comments and asides that were a little too pointed about matters not associated with the tour and a bit clumsy. I should have listened to my instincts and walked away within the first few moments but stuck with it to be polite. Others seemed to enjoy themselves so perhaps just a poor choice on my part.
We’re sorry the tour did not feel like the right experience for you. Our guides’ comments should complement the history and storytelling, never distract from the tour or make a guest uncomfortable. Limited number of stories. Anecdotes were drawn out unnecessarily. Too much time spent at Mercer Williams - we all knew the story and the haunting there is questionable

Tour was cancelled due to possible weather. We didn’t get the message until after we arrived, the weather was fine. We saw other tours taking place.
We’re sorry you were disappointed. We sent the cancellation notice through Viator approximately an hour and a half before the scheduled tour and issued a full refund. We monitor the radar closely, but Georgia weather can be extremely unpredictable. At the time the decision was made, the radar showed a storm moving through during the tour. Because our guests and guides are outdoors for 90 minutes, we take their safety seriously and had to make the call with enough time to notify everyone. We understand how frustrating it was to arrive and find clear weather, especially while seeing other tours operating. Unfortunately, different companies may make different decisions based on the information available to them. Had the storm arrived as predicted, continuing the tour would also have resulted in a poor and potentially unsafe experience. We regret that the weather changed after the decision was made, but guest and guide safety must always come first.
We took the 8pm walking ghost tour with Candler and it was great. We had our two teens with us (who, ahead of time, were majorly grumbling about being forced to go) and both told me how fun it was and talked about it the whole drive back to our rental house. So glad this is the one I chose!

I will start by saying, NOTHING BEATS A PASSIONATE TOUR GUIDE! This guy was incredibly entertaining and seemed to know all the back stories like the back of is hand. His name was Candler, like Chandler without the H..😊. I could tell right from the start when he introduced himself… I’m gonna like this tour guide. His delivery of all the interesting historical facts and myths about where all the paranormal activities surrounding Savannah came from was so passionate I felt obligated to post a review. And to top it off, I will say our group was enormous and he handled the crowd like a champ. Oh yeah, if you ever see an orange striped #13 pool ball rolling down those steps in the picture I included… RUN!

Worst communication and we missed it then denied a refund after we literally ran 4 blocks to catch it to be told we were at the wrong place
We need to correct several inaccuracies in this review. The only communication we received from you before the tour was a message asking, “Where does it start?” approximately two hours before departure. We promptly replied with a detailed description of the meeting location, including the exact GPS address. This was in addition to the meeting instructions already provided in your Viator confirmation. We received no phone call, no additional message, and no indication that you were having difficulty finding the tour. At 8:10 p.m., after the tour had already departed, we received a refund request through Viator stating that you had booked the wrong tour. You were therefore recorded as a no-call, no-show. Our tour departed as scheduled from the clearly stated meeting location, and refunds are not issued when guests miss a tour despite receiving complete arrival instructions. Claiming that this resulted from “the worst communication” is simply not supported by the actual communication record.
