We were so disappointed with this trip. It was our first time and day in Boston. We wanted an overview and wanted to be able to take pictures. The driver concentrated on two couples right behind him. Joked around with them and got to know them. We felt left out. He drive the bus and spoke a little then a prerecorded voice came on. He never really stopped for us to see any of the sights and take a picture. He pointed out Paul Revere's house but believe me I didn't not see it. He never said right or left, look straight ahead or anything. We were extremely frustrated. It felt more like a public transit bus. Some people could get off. We could not because we got the nonstop version. This was not the experience we expected.
I was expecting a “live narrator”. We had a recorded experience with very little from our driver. He had a very thick accent which was very hard to understand.
The tour did not talk about the sights to see in Boston or the landmarks, the driver was funny but just rambled on about the history of Boston. We have taken many Victor tours which are much better.

This was called an 80 minute tour that lasted 30 minutes. We were told things like 3 blocks up the hill is where Paul Rwvere’s house is, through the gates (that we were already past) you can see Old Ironsides. We drove our car around Boston after this to get a real tour of historic places.
Hi Cindy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Based on your comments, there may have been some confusion during your visit. Our full trolley route takes approximately 70–80 minutes to complete a full loop without any stops. Additionally, Paul Revere House is located just two short blocks from Stop #2 and is not situated up any hills. If the confusion was caused by our staff or our tour information, we sincerely apologize. Please email me directly during your next visit to Boston, and we would be delighted to invite you back as our guest with complimentary passes so you can experience the tour again. Sincerely, Mike T
It was a great time to see all downtown Boston. We were able to see what interested us the most & go back to those stops. Hugo was our driver. He did a great job!
Host and driver Joey was deeply knowledgeable and proud of his city of Boston. It was 96 degrees on our visit and he provided water fan relief. He also had his trolley decorated festively for America's 250th birthday. At times it was a little tricky to hear, just due to city traffic. We had one traveler who began commenting loudly about everything Joey was presenting, but Joey redirected and settled the issue quickly.
Tour operator was efficient but the bus went by sights fast & the driver/guide's microphone wasn't working continuously. He pointed out restaurants & bars in the area.
Friendly and well informed drivers. Easy to use web site and good ongoing communication from you. The out of town family found the tour to be very informative.
Have taken many hop on/off tours, but this was so much better- the convenience of hop on/off as you wish, but with a terrific narrated tour by Cindy as well. She was extremely friendly, funny, and so knowledgeable about her beloved Boston. At every stop she made sure to explain all the great places to visit in each area. I learned so much - sorry it ended!
Hugo had great stories. We drove by most of the high points of Colonial Boston. Recommend this.
