We had an amazing 8 day tour of rajastan highlights with our wonderful driver Neetu. The whole process was clear and communication with Sukret was quick, accurate and efficient. We could adjust the tour if necessary.The tour does involve long drives ( it’s a huge country after all ) but having the private air conditioned car and driver makes it very comfortable.

We made a custom trip with operator who help us arrange car with driver and guides in key cities. We booked our own hotels directly. We travelled with adult family of 3, in well kept Innova and had a comfortable journey and felt safe travelling through several major cities in Rajastan during a peak period. We had started planning the tour early in the year and the operator was very helpful and help us efficiently before the tour. On the tour, they continued to be accessible and helpful communicating via WhatsApp by text or phone, with any communication issues on itinery plan or with the driver. Overall, we had a lot excellent experience over and extended period.

Pros: Tour coordinator was prompt and professional, driver experienced and knowledgeable. Excellent overview of the historical, cultural and culinary heritage of the land of the Rajas. UNESCO heritage sites (royal observatory) and temples (Ranakpur Jain temple complex) are stunning and awe-inspiring. Each city fort and palace has unique features, and all are worth the time and cost of the visit, with the following caveats. Cons: Expect long hours of driving, brief and fewer sightseeing stops than billed by tour operator. Some palaces close early due to private functions, and others(e.g. Amer Fort, Jaipur) involve long delays due to traffic. The desert experience is loud and late, and light and dust pollution hinder stargazing. Poor air quality in cities is worse in winter months, and hotels facilities and amenities are quite variable within the 4-star package. Suggest personalizing itinerary to individual preferences, reducing number of sites and transfers, and/or extending tour to allow for a less hurried (and harried) holiday.

Every was good. Driver was very helpfull, but too much driving and very short time for sightseing. Visited sities were awesome. I didn't like tent camp.

We had a wonderful 7-day trip through Rajasthan with VWi Tours. Sukret Sharma arranged all our transportation and guides across three cities, and everything went exactly as promised. Our car was spacious and spotless, and our driver was polite, punctual, and very safe. The local guides were knowledgeable and added so much to the experience. Great trip, but check your hotels in advance. We travelled as a couple early January. We got the five star package and also arranged for all our meals and tickets entries to be included. We also arranged for our train ticket from Jaipur to Delhi. Everything was great in advance, all the arrangements. During the trip, the driver, the car were superb. The driver arranged for us places to have lunch and dinner and it was great. We had local guides in each place, arranged as part of the package. They were all licensed, but the quality of their guiding was questionable. All of them were just focused to get us to go shopping, some to an unnerving level. We had a guide in Jodhpur who refused to take us to the second location to see because we didn't want to go shopping and he said that we would miss too much time in traffic and that it was not much to see there. The worse experience was with the hotels. We had 2 cases in which the driver dropped us to a hotel for us to find out that our reservation was cancelled. We had to get the driver to come back and for him to troubleshoot where we need to go. In both cases we had reservations at the hotels listed and then moved to hotels which were not as good or the location was not as good . Also, the 5 star hotel in udaipur is of poor quality: service, room, location. I had to ask to change room twice and to get a bedsheet below the blanket. Long story short: good quality by the main company, but poor quality subcontractors. I'd still recommend it, with the note for you to check with the main company every day to confirm the hotel for the evening. We didn't think to do that and it was jarring.

There was a miscommunication with hotel allocations due to heavy occupancy, and in Jodhpur, the driver mistakenly dropped you at the wrong property. We had already shared your confirmed hotel list before the start of the tour, but we regret that this created confusion. We will ensure better follow-up and daily reconfirmations with hotels in the future to avoid such issues. Regarding the local guides, thank you for pointing this out. The guides sometimes include visits to local markets or shops as part of the cultural experience, but it is never compulsory for our guests to purchase anything. We have noted your concern and will remind our guides to respect guests’ preferences more carefully. 8 days Rajasthan Tour starts from Udaipur ends in Jaipur was Great experience, driving skill of the driver (Raj) was great. Hotels are mostly of top notch. Sukret, being our communication point in Travel Partner, was very polite and responsive and took really nice and prompt decision at the time when ever is required. I would definitely recommend this travel agent to book cheaper yet really very satisfying tour for Rajasthan. Tour guide was very informative and communicative when it comes to places where we are visiting as most of us are visiting this place for the first time.

Overall good itinerary with all major attractions covered. Pros: Good chauffeur, informative guides and stay in 4- star hotels. Cons: Rationed lunches and longer driving times between locations. Be careful to check your reservations for your flights to ensure it’s not part of group booking otherwise you’ll be stuck until all the passengers in the group have checked in.
