This was the highlight of my family’s planned activities. My children (13,11,8) were so excited to zip line today! I have never been zip lining before and am afraid of heights. I decided to try to be brave for my kids and it was well worth it! The first line required a walk up a small tower on a cliff side of maybe 4? flights of stairs… I was terrified but it’s hard to see the ground above the trees ( and it was foggy), so that helped. We zip lined over La Fortuna waterfall which was amazing. Then through trees and the river below- what an amazing experience. I felt safe, the equipment appeared to be newer and I felt the staff was very competent and kind. For these reasons I was able to try zip lining and can say I would do it again!!
Staff was excellent: professional and helpful. Very safety focused. Equipment was in good shape. I’m terrified of heights and they were attentive to my needs. For me, climbing the first tower before the first jump was the worst part. Once I was harnessed and in the zip line I felt completely secure.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I specifically asked my guide to book zip lining with Arenal Mundo Aventura because I wanted the experience of going solo over the waterfall, that was the entire reason I chose this company. Unfortunately, the staff rushed the tour and started forcing guests to go in pairs so they could finish faster. When it came to the biggest and most anticipated zip line over the waterfall, I was forced to ride with a complete stranger AND a guide, THREE people on one line. Not only was I extremely uncomfortable, but I didn’t even get to enjoy or properly experience the very zip line I paid for. For the price they charge, this was incredibly disappointing. If you are booking specifically for the waterfall zip line experience, save your money and book elsewhere. I would not recommend this company.

This was one of the highlights of our trip! The views were absolutely incredible, and ziplining over the waterfall was such an unforgettable experience. The guides were great, everything felt safe and well organized, and the scenery was breathtaking from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Costa Rica. It was worth every minute!

The tour was excellent, 10/10. It was very well organized, the guide were helpful, we all felt very safe and had an excellent time.
This was such an incredible experience and nothing to be scared of bc the guides were so great! Pablo and Kevin took us through all 7 zip lines and made it the most fun experience. They made us feel safe and even told us where to look so we wouldn’t miss out on beautiful views. Going in, a couple of us were a bit scared but after the first it was the most exhilarating and enjoyable experience. If I came back, I would do this again and encourage anyone to book this activity!
