5 Tage Uganda Gorilla, Schimpansen- und Wildtiersafari

Beschreibung

We had an absolutely amazing safari experience from start to finish. The organization was excellent throughout the entire trip, and everything was planned and executed perfectly. Our guide, Jerom, was exceptional. He has an incredible amount of knowledge about safaris, wildlife, and nature, and he was always happy to share interesting information with us. Beyond his expertise, he was very kind, open-minded, and easy-going, which made every day enjoyable and relaxed. His passion for nature and wildlife truly enhanced our experience. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. Every lodge was of outstanding quality, offering comfort, great service, and beautiful surroundings. The food was delicious everywhere we stayed. Most importantly, we felt completely safe during the entire journey. Everything was handled professionally, allowing us to fully enjoy the adventure without any worries. We highly recommend this safari company and especially Jerom to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories for us!
We went on a 3-day safari. Our guide Jerome was impeccable, on time, smiling and available for changes to the program. Also the lodge, recommended!
Dear Giulia & Silvi, Thank you so much for your lovely review. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are delighted to hear that your 3-day safari was such a positive one and that Jerome made it especially memorable. His punctuality, flexibility, and warm personality are qualities we deeply value at Prime Safaris, and I will be sure to share your kind words with him — he will be thrilled. We’re also very pleased that you enjoyed the lodge recommendation. Choosing the right accommodation is such an important part of the overall safari experience, so it’s wonderful to know it met your expectations. Thank you again for traveling with us. We would be honored to welcome you back for another adventure in the future. Warm regards, Cate
Currently sat in the airport after spending an amazing 7 days touring Uganda. We choose Prime Safaris due to the reasonable price in comparisons to UK travel agents and we have not been disappointed. Arranging the tour was easy and Cate replied immediately. Cate tailor made a package to our specific requirements and short time frame with no issues. Ananias, our tour guide was exceptional throughout. Knowledgable in all areas and passionate about the wildlife we got to observe. Prompt and ensured we felt safe throughout, even managed to support us with some extra special requirements we requested. We saw everything we aimed to - the Big 5, gorillas, chimpanzees and so much more. Trusting this local company was a fantastic choice. Well done Prime Safaris, Ananias is a credit to you.
Dear Stephanie, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. Reading your words truly makes us proud and grateful to have been part of your Ugandan adventure. I’m delighted to hear that your 7-day tour of Uganda was everything you hoped for and more. It was a pleasure tailoring a package to your specific requirements and tight timeframe — ensuring that each day offered a seamless and memorable experience was our priority, and I’m thrilled that you felt everything was handled smoothly. Ananias will be especially pleased to hear your kind words. His knowledge, passion for wildlife, and dedication to ensuring safety and comfort are qualities we value deeply. I’m glad he was able to accommodate your extra special requests and make your journey even more enjoyable. It’s wonderful that you were able to see all the highlights you aimed for — from the Big 5 to gorillas, chimpanzees, and so much more. Experiences like these are exactly why we love what we do, and knowing that we helped create such lasting memories makes all our efforts worthwhile. We are also delighted that you found our services to be a great value and that trusting a local company provided such a seamless and enriching experience. At Prime Safaris, we take great pride in delivering personalized adventures that immerse travelers in the best of Uganda’s wildlife, landscapes, and culture. Thank you again for your heartfelt recommendation. It was a genuine pleasure to plan and support your safari, and we would be absolutely thrilled to welcome you back for another adventure in Uganda or elsewhere in East Africa in the future. Warmest regards, Cate
My husband and I just finished this tour with Andrew Yaweh as our guide. We had an amazing experience. Saw so many animals and learned so much about Uganda from Andrew. The gorilla trekking was an unbelievable unique and rewarding experience to be so close to these amazing animals. Andrew was an expert driver and fun companion. He made sure we saw so many animals and special parts of this amazing country as well as engaging in great conversations!
We spent a wonderful week with our guide Ananius, wondering around south west part of Uganda. The safari was really well planned, with a lot of different activities, landscapes, lots of animals and so much fun! I’ve always been unlucky in animal spotting, but we were really lucky and got to see lions, leopards, hippos and so many cute cubs! We also asked to add the shoebilll excursion next to Entebbe, and everything was perfectly planned according to our needs. Ananius has always been so kind and helpful, answering to my questions and clarifying my doubts, both on the tour itself and on Uganda culture and people. The hotels chosen were really nice and welcoming, with tasty food and kind people helping us. I would strongly recommend Prime Safari!
Mr. pineapple catered to us like we were very important people. The schedule included a lot in just 5 days. Always briefing day before. Nice accommodations even though we booked medium , mid lodging. I did experience “budget” on two other tours prior to this one. I would definitely avoid Budget. They are noisy, no hot water, poor food. Another thing, there was so much dishonesty in my previous tour providers in other African countries. This company is top-notch and is like a breath of fresh air. They took us places listed in the program and more!!! The tour notes about each day and what we were going to see was very, very, very detailed. Much different than the competitors in the other countries. (They just gave a real brief if anything explanation) . We saw many animals! Close up and active. Birds, everywhere. 4 of us up close with lots of gorillas and watching the gorilla babies wrestling right in front of us. One baby gorilla grabbed a tourist leg, but he got away easily. They are used to people. We didn’t have to hike for a long, long time to see Gorillas and chimps. As it turns out maybe 15 minutes at the most. There were a lot of hours of riding in a jeep over bumpy roads. It was just so much distance to cover. They call it the “African massage” . Another thing, there were only two of us signed up for this particular five day tour. They did not cancel like “on the go tours” did. Our wonderful, amazing tour guide/driver starts with letter “A”, goes my Mr Pineapple. So super nice!!! He has quite a talent for locating animals on a game drive. He did everything humanly possible to give us the best game drive experiences of my life! Plus the Gorillas and chimps are on my bucket list. Total dream experience. It was better, by far, than I ever expected.
Our “couples” group was me and my sister, both over 60. She had visited Uganda with Prime Safaris in 2018 so this was my first Ugandan adventure and a return trip for her. She describes an even better time than on her first trip and I am still in awe of our fabulous experience. The accommodations that Cate arranged were incredible. Comfort, service, food, location-all were the BEST. Our guide was Joseph Nyanzi. I cannot recommend him highly enough. We are convinced that Joseph made our trip as wonderful as it was. To begin with, he knows everyone in Uganda. This seems like an exaggeration but at every stop everyone knew him by name and he knew them. We are sure that we got special treatment because we were with Joseph. Highlights- The purpose of our trip was for me to see the chimps and the gorillas. I never imagined that I would see so many animals and be so close to them. Seeing the chimps and gorillas was a breathtaking experience for me. I took hundreds of pictures and videos and I look at them everyday. I have traveled to many places and have many pictures that I have not looked at a second time. The up close experience with the chimps and gorillas touched me in a way that other experiences in nature have not. The other experience that was meaningful to me was the community walk (Ask Cate about this.) The Ugandan people are warm, friendly, and eager to show you their country and ask questions about where we live. I will never forget sipping banana beer or my pitiful attempt to weave a basket. Everything about the trip was awesome, but especially the care that Cate Makanga took in planning and the exceptional guiding from Joseph Nyanzi. Plan a trip with Cate and request Joseph as your guide. You will not be sorry.
I simply could not have had a better experience with Prime Safaris. Our original tour company canceled on us. We scrambled to find a replacement on very specific dates. Prime came thru. Our guide, Ananias, picked us up at our hotel in Entebbe and treated us to wonderful game drives thru 4 parks. We saw everything including a leopard and puff adder. We were in the midst of chimpanzee families and gorilla families. Anan drove us to our hotel in Kampala at the end in time to see the wonderful Ndere cultural show, even tho it was not part of the tour. Anan had become my friend and I miss him. Fabulous tour. Thank you Prime
I did the 5 days, 4 nights chimpanzee and gorilla trekking tour with Prime Safaris, and every part of the trip was incredible. Here's my detailed breakdown. Booking & Communication: Kate and her husband are the co-owners of Prime Safaris, and it was so easy to set up this tour with them (over Whatsapp). They are extremely responsive and provided so much helpful information on what tour would best suit me in terms of budget and time that I had. They even welcomed me IN PERSON at my hotel the night before the tour started. I mean, who does that?? I've never received such an exceptional welcome. Tour Guide: Andrew was my AMAZING tour guide. He is from close to Entebbe/Kampala and has guided tours all over the country, so he really. knows his stuff. He was knowledgeable (not just about animals and the planned activities, but also things like how a certain village/town specialized in growing onions or pineapples), funny, a very good driver, and has excellent taste in music. Andrew has a great energy and spirit that was much needed during our long driving days! I would HIGHLY recommend asking for him as your guide. He even went out of his way to help me find a local restaurant serving local food when we returned on the last day of the tour. By the end of the trip, I really felt like Andrew and I had become friends (vs. a tour guide-tourist transactional relationship). Miscellaneous: I just can't say enough great things about Prime Safari - from Kate and her husband to my guide Andrew - every aspect of the trip was fantastic. You can really tell they put a lot of thought into the itinerary as well. I very much appreciated that we spent 2 nights at the same hotel the first 2 days of the trip. This help me rest well instead of feeling like I had to constantly get to the next destination. Kate and Andrew even helped me extend my stay by one night on what was supposed to be the last night of the trip at a place called Lake Bunyonyi. I enjoyed that area so much so I asked them last minute if we could arrange another night, and they flawlessly and quickly took care of it. Thank you Prime Safari, Kate, and Andrew. I had such a wonderful time exploring Uganda with you, and will 100% be back in the future.
This was the most extraordinary adventure. Gofrey was our private guide and he picked us up in Rwanda and drove us to Uganda and back. He was very knowledgeable about the entire region. All our accommodations were wonderful. Godfrey was willing to make suggestions or let us take the lead. He was very flexible and accommodating no matter what was happening. Kate, the owner, stayed in touch, not that there was ever a problem, but she was always available if she was needed. This trip was everything and more that I had anticipated and we have a forever new friend in Godfrey. I can’t wait to get back for more.
