Excellent trip ! Accommodation was great with all facilities, the bed was really comfortable. Staffs very friendly and at your service all time. 4 night was just right to explore Luxor to Aswan.
I have travelled a lot in my life and in many countries - and not always in a luxurious setting. I took this cruise to make it easy and comfortable with a 5 year old. There are positives (few) and negatives (many) Cons: We do not have the name of the boat when we get in the car that picks us up and drops us in front of 6 boats at dock (very far from the city and impossible to reach on foot). - The room does not match the request and it lacks a bed; the reception is stressed and announces to me that they will not be able to do anything... -Boat OK - but without infrastructure for the children - so they run in the corridors day and night and ageing - so we navigate in clouds of pollution - with 10 boats around constantly. If this is not mass tourism! Forget the fantasy of a little cruise alone on the Nile. In Aswan there were 8 boats docked in parallel with us in the middle, overlooking the room of the boat next door. - At the restaurant impossible to sit just as a family we are forced to join other visitors (we are on vacation not in camp!) and the room staff is unpleasant (me too probably given the context) - Meals and visits times are not practical with a child (in winter so no peak heat to expect: breakfast very early, lunch late (1"h30 sometimes), dinner late ( 8pm) -The boat is noisy -holiday music every night. The staff talking very loud at 5am. The families who come to 15 and leave the doors open as if the hallway belongs to them...The drunk tourists who party in the hallway - We're talking about the boats that cling to the boat and who until 11pm yell at you to open the window to sell you things? -The pool is small, dirty and cold so impassable. - Organization of last minute visits without flexibility of schedule and with other people (while the site mentions private) with guides and drivers who insist on leaving (big!!) tips. Pros: - The room is very comfortable, clean and without carpeting (the staff who make the room is nice - they made towel sculptures to make my son laugh all week - good have never filled the shower gel in the shower but we are not that close... We've never been sick in a restaurant. The only time there were staff on the deck behind the bar in 5 days, the 5 euro coffee was very good (and made a change from the nescafé available to the morning buffet). In short I do not recommend, but is it really different elsewhere? Or you have to put the price... I thought 1500 euros for 5 days has 2 adults and a child was already a nice price - but not enough apparently
All pretty good. Great food and rooms. Maybe it's a little static and not much to do, but it's what you'd expect from a nile cruise
My wife and I did the 4 night/5 days cruise starting in Luxor and ending in Aswan. There are a few pros and cons to the overall experience: Pros: - The cruise ship , the food and the amenities were in a better level than what we expected - The experience coming down the Nile is very magical and relaxing - The staff were super nice snd the service was great - The food was included even though it says in here it is not included but drinks are not included - our airport pickup and drop off is included and its a great feature Cons: - The description here is misleading because it says the ticket admission for sightseeing is not included but the reality is you only pay for the cruise and nothing else outside of it is included so you need to arrange transportation, tour guide, and all other itineraries separately and pay for that additional. Someone will reach out to you after you book the cruise to sell you all of the sightseeing tours separately after. - once you leave the boat for activities, Everyone is trying to haggle you and give you tourist prices, so whatever they ask for price, the reality is it is likely 5-10 times cheaper. The constant haggling is exhausting - You are not on the sailing on day one, the boat is parked, you come check in and then go see Luxor, come back to sleep, then day two do sightseeing in the morning and finally after 1 pm you sail on day two. In short, the actual cruise time is 3 days as you leave the last day - The boat smelled a bit funky which was annoying Overall it was a good experience and we recommend it but be ready for the constant haggling, try to buy your water/beverage outside and bring it in the boat vs buying them onboard for 5X the price and if you are on budget do the sightseeing arrangements when you get to Egypt. The advance booking of tours gives you a peace of mind but know that you are paying 10X the price for that peace.
The Nile cruise was fantastic. On the cruise, everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming. The experience with Sightsee has been fascinating.
I would suggest the location to you; it's really lovely and the trip was enjoyable. We had a great time during our trip from Luxor to Aswan. Many thanks to everyone of the team.
The best service, the most exquisite boat in Luxor, and extremely affordable rates. The journey from Luxor to Aswan was breathtaking. I suggest that you go there.
The friendliness, cleanliness, and presence of excellent staff make it one of the most pleasurable Nile cruises.
