5 Tage Gruppen Camping Safari

First day of safari! We were really looking forward to it and felt nervous, thinking it would be very hard to spot animals, but with Steve, no animal can hide from us! As soon as we entered, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes. My mother cried with emotion. We saw elephants up close and even found lions! We never imagined seeing so many animals on the first day. We had lunch in a quiet spot with very pretty views. The safari companions were very nice; it was their last day and they told us many stories. The food was very delicious. I can only say wonderful things. To wrap things up, Kashada prepared an incredible dinner for us, and since I'm a vegetarian, I couldn't have been happier with my margherita pizza :)

I had a fantastic experience with Suricata Safari. From the accommodation at Safari Homes upon arrival, to the safaris in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with our excellent guide Louis and exceptional chef, everything was truly outstanding. The final safari in Tarangire with our guide Steve was the perfect way to end the trip, allowing me to experience unforgettable moments in one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks. A truly memorable experience from beginning to end.

We were lucky enough to go on a safari with Suricata, with Simon as our guide, and what a wonderful person he is! Simon is such a lovely, kind and caring person, and above all, he is truly passionate about his job. He really wants his guests to have an unforgettable experience. Thanks to him, we laughed a lot, learned so much about the animals and their environment, and most importantly… we were lucky enough to see ALL the animals we hoped to see, including the famous BIG 5! What we particularly appreciated was the respect Simon has for the animals. He always made sure that the animals were not surrounded by too many vehicles and that our presence had as little impact as possible on their natural lives. You can really feel that he genuinely loves and cares about the animals and wants to protect them. A huge thank you to Simon for these amazing moments, his explanations, his good humour and his passion. I chose Suricata Safaris for a 5-day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro parks, with overnight stays in tents to fully experience the atmosphere of the savanna. The experience was extraordinary, and I am fully satisfied. We organized everything via email and, once we arrived in Tanzania, we had Simon as our guide and Jeremia as our cook and camp manager. The organization before departure was simple and efficient. Suricata Safaris proved to be very flexible in proposing various solutions, always responded quickly to our emails, and handled all transfers to and from the airport punctually. The accommodation in Arusha was also comfortable. During the safari, Simon proved to be an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, passionate, and always available. He did not just take us to see the animals, but explained their behavior, the relationships between the different species, and how the savanna ecosystem works. Thanks to his experience, we managed to see all the Big Five, three leopards, a female cheetah with cubs, and even a cheetah during a hunt that ended with the capture of its prey. At every moment, we felt completely safe, both during close encounters with animals and while traveling within the parks. Jeremia also helped make the trip special. He handled all the camp logistics and prepared breakfasts, lunches, and dinners every day that were always abundant, varied, and truly excellent. When we returned from game drives, we always found everything ready and could dedicate ourselves exclusively to living the safari experience. I recommend Suricata Safaris without any hesitation to anyone who wants to experience an authentic, well-organized, and emotion-filled safari.

There are not enough stars in the world to rate this experience. Some people simply do their job. Others become part of a memory that you will carry in your heart for the rest of your life. Elias is one of those people. From the very first moment, Elias made us feel safe, welcome and genuinely cared for. He was not simply our driver or our guide, somewhere along the way, he became our friend. His knowledge of Tanzania, the wildlife and the landscape is extraordinary. His ability to spot animals that we would never have seen ourselves was unbelievable. He is so patient, so kind, so respectful, he always looked after us and was always s on time. He also wasn't just following other cars, he knew every road as if it were his back yard, it was mind-blowing. He never made us feel like tourists. He made us feel like people who were lucky enough to experience his home with him. Elias was with us for some day trips and for a camping safari and I would do it all again in a heart beat. Our second driver, for the last day trip, was also absolutely wonderful. He was kind, professional and did an amazing job, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did for us. But Elias was simply in a league of his own. And then there was Lucas. What an incredible cook and person! After long days of adventure, coming back to his food felt like coming home. Every meal was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared and made with so much love. We honestly don't know how he managed to create such amazing food in the middle of nowhere. Last but not least, Neema helped us plan everything and she left not a single wish open. She is so fast in replying to emails, super patient with every question, wish or change of plan. To the entire team: thank you. You gave us far more than a safari. You gave us memories that we will talk about for years. The landscapes of Tanzania were breathtaking. The wildlife was beyond anything we could have imagined. But it was the people who made this journey truly unforgettable. I can recommend Suricata in a heartbeat and without a single doubt. Everything from the organisation to the people, the care, the professionalism and the experience was exceptional. You have an incredible team, and I hope you know how special the people working for you are. There is a saying: “Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.” I am trying very hard to do exactly that. But saying goodbye was genuinely difficult. Because sometimes you have an experience that you know, even while you are living it, will never happen in quite the same way again. This was one of those experiences. I will cherish it forever. And thank you to every single person who made this journey what it was. We arrived in Tanzania as guests. We left with memories, stories, full hearts and people we will never forget.
