4x4 Jeep Tour - Geheimnisse von Gobustan und Schlammvulkanen

Were in Baku in early May 2023. Four partial days are too short to visit and learn all the sights of this city and its surroundings. Therefore, it was decided to contact professionals in advance to plan the best program. From Moscow, AzTerra Trevel was contacted via the Internet. Jamal, the manager of the company, helped to choose the best stay program (including airport transfers). All days of stay were scheduled fairly tightly: Old town, modern Baku, trips to mud volcanoes, to Gobustan rock paintings, program on Absheron. There could be many more interesting excursions, but we wanted to have free time, which was also taken into account by Jamal. Everything we wanted to see, everything we saw. The wonderful guide Farman accompanied us on all the tours. Knowledgeable, educated young man with excellent knowledge of the history of the state, traditions, legends, architecture, with excellent command of the Russian language. None of our questions went unanswered, all our wishes were taken into account. Technical support was also high. The transportation provided, the professional drivers, all at the highest level. Thank you to AzTerra Trevel and its staff for the excellent holiday arrangements. We hope to meet again in the future, because there is still much to see and learn about this beautiful country.

October 2-6 were in Baku. This is our third visit to Azerbaijan. 4.10.22 on the recommendation of Jamal's office manager were on a jeep tour of the mysteries of Gaboustan plus mud volcanoes with guide Diana. From the tour, his organization was very pleased. Diana is a great guide, they learned a lot about the Republic, about the history of the country, about architecture. We were shown and told about the wonderful history of Gobustan, the wonderful landscape in the reserve and of course the unique mud volcanoes. Everything was done professionally and competently. Loved this tour. Fantastic service from my guide and driver throughout. You get to see the famous mud volcanoes up close, the Gobustan museum and the cave petroglyphs. But also some truly spectacular scenery as you travel through the area. The off road bits were fun - drama without danger! And some jaw-dropping views from the top of the mountain. I'd thoroughly recommend this trip.

We did a couple of excursions from Baku to gobustan and to xinaliq . Everything was perfect: the guides , the drivers and the cars... The best guides ever, really.

My husband and I had an excellent time on this tour and highly recommend it. Our driver was very safe and helpful and our guide was overflowing with knowledge of the petroglyphs. Although our time at the mud volcanoes was short, they were fascinating. It was worth the hour plus drive from the city. The rock art was incredibly fascinating and see it in the original location had us both in awe. The terrain was rough and every time we saw one of those old Trabants drive past us, I was glad that we were riding in the 4x4 (Toyota Land Cruiser). It's also very hot out in Gobustan so make sure you pack a lot of water, slather on the sunscreen and wear a hat. The guides provided us with a bottle each, but we went through those and the ones we brought with us.

We are a couple that stayed 5 days in Baku, Azerbaijan. We used the services of AzTerra for a day tour to Gobustan by 4x4 and for the airport transfers. Their help was very good, We loved Baku, Gobustan and the food. It was a memorable experience.
