Wenn Sie nur wenig Zeit haben, aber so viel wie möglich vom French Quarter sehen möchten, ist dies Ihre Tour! Wir werden schnell vorankommen, aber Sie werden in der Lage sein, all diese Bilder zu machen! In 45 Minuten sehen wir alle berühmten Sehenswürdigkeiten des French Quarter. Es gibt nicht so viel Geschichtenerzählen oder Geschichte wie bei einer typischen zweistündigen Tour, aber Ihr Guide wird Ihnen im Anschluss eine Zusammenfassung der Tour und eine Liste empfohlener Möglichkeiten geben, New Orleans noch mehr zu genießen.

Beginnen Sie Ihre stürmische Tour im Herzen der Stadt, am Jackson Square. Von hier aus können Sie die St. Louis Cathedral, zwei Louisiana State Museums, die berühmten Pontalba Apartments und (natürlich) die Statue von Andrew Jackson sehen. Ihr Guide erzählt Ihnen kurz die Geschichte von New Orleans, dann geht es los!
Gehen Sie weiter die Chartres Street hinauf, um einige Beispiele der ikonischen New Orleans-Architektur sowie großartige Geschäfte und Restaurants zu sehen, darunter ein Haus, das als Zufluchtsort für Napoleon hergerichtet wurde (Spoiler: Er hat uns versetzt), ein Museum, das den seltsameren Aspekten des pharmazeutischen Berufes des 19. Jahrhunderts gewidmet ist( Blutegel!) und das Louisiana State Supreme Courthouse.
Gehen Sie die Bourbon Street entlang, um (nicht wörtlich – das wäre ekelhaft) einen Vorgeschmack auf das Zentrum der nächtlichen Feierlichkeiten in New Orleans zu bekommen, einschließlich der berüchtigtsten Musikhallen und Kneipen. Keine Sorge, tagsüber ist es normalerweise nicht so schockierend.

Erleben Sie ein wenig vom „Kristall“ des French Quarter in der Decatur Street, wo es interessante Geschäfte, Fischrestaurants, Cafés, Süßwarenläden, überall Musik und eine goldene Statue von Jeanne d'Arc gibt! Folgen Sie dem Puderzucker zum weltberühmten Café Du Monde, dem besten Ort, um Café au Lait zu schlürfen, Beignets zu essen, Leute zu beobachten und Live-Jazz zu hören. Highly recommend this tour for a quick and informative introduction to the French Quarter. Libby was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable and engaging. We had a wonderful time and came away much more informed and fascinated with New Orleans history and culture.

Just go book the tour already - you will not be disappointed! Libby was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge of New Orleans and its colorful and interesting history. She tailored our tour to the interests of our group and made sure to answer every question we had. We had a group of high school aged girls and she delivered the information in a way that hooked them from the beginning. I hope we can come back and do another one soon!!

Libby was amazing and worked with our schedule when our flight was cancelled after a seven hour delay. She was understanding and accommodating and we couldn't be more grateful!
