4 Tage 3 Nächte Selous (Nyerere Nationalpark) & Mikumi Abenteuer

It was an excellent all round experience. I would definitely book with them again. Its definitely value for money. I loved their flexibility and speed of response due to which I booked them. The guide Mr. William was amazing and made sure we had a great experience. We absolutely wanted to see a lion and he made sure we get to see a whole pride of them. Overall they took care of us and made sure we had a safe experience.

We did the 4 days tour with William in October with my family. We were 5 adults and 3 kids aged between 3 and 9 years old. William was great with us, we saw amazing animals, he knows a lot about them and did everything to make our experience unforgettable. The parks are so beautiful and we saw the animals and babies very close. I recommend!

Excellently organized, it was a great experience to live the 4 days with the staff of Mloca Lodge. Our Driver William was great at moving around the long and challenging transfers and 2 days of the Game Drive. All very professional. We had a great experience. Our guide Michael was excellent and had not only an amazing knowledge of the wildlife but also was able to spot some really rare species on our drives. We saw lions, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, elephants, as well as rarer Elands in both parks. He also gave us a good insight into the life and politics of Tanzania. He is a great ambassador for his country. Kihindo have everything very well organised and the whole trip ran so smoothly.

As a guide, he is extremely knowledgeable and his enthusiasm and respect towards the wildlife is infectious. He is professional, always punctual and a highly skilled driver - on and off road! We have learned so much from Michael during our game drives and also really enjoyed our meals together, during which we were able to learn a bit more about Tanzania's culture and current affairs.  We cannot wait to come back and visit the other National Parks.

Excellent Safari experience with Kihindo Tours. Our Safari days in Nyerere were better than expected. William our guide and advisor was perfect and his level of knowledge of the area and the animals was unbeatable. The administration of Kihindo Tours was also adequate and prompt. Staying in cabins very close to the park allowed us to get in touch with the local people. Very good value for money. We recommend Kihindo Tours for your safaris in Tanzania.

Before we even left Germany, we were in frequent contact with Winnie to organize our safari. She responded incredibly quickly and attentively – we've never experienced this level of service before! Even during the trip, she made sure everything was running smoothly and that we were happy. Our guide, Michael, was an absolute highlight! We’d describe him as a walking Wikipedia of nature, wildlife, and Tanzanian culture, all combined with a fantastic sense of humor. Whether on safari or engaging in fun and insightful conversations over lunch or dinner, we had an absolut amazing time with him! As for the parks, we visited both Nyerere and Mikumi. They were completely different but breathtaking in their own unique ways! We highly recommend visiting both, and we were lucky enough to see lions, a leopard, elephants, and many other animals. The accommodations were excellent! At Mloka Safari Lodge, the service and hospitality were outstanding, and at Camp Bastian, the architecture of the lodge was truly one of a kind. We would absolutely travel with Kihindo and Michael again!

We were a group of 4 friends looking for an affordable and diverse safari which Kihindo managed to organise and execute perfectly. We had a private car and our driver-guide Wiliam was on point with everything: he was informative, funny, professional, spotted lots of animals, managed to get the car through slippery dirt roads and complied to our many bushtoilet stops. We did a combination of Mikumi&Nyerere NP which needed an adapted schedule due to the recent rainfall, but nevertheless we had 4 fantastic days of which seeing 4 of the big five was a highlight (there are no rhino in Mikumi)! The food was tasty and more than enough, the lodge in Nyerere was beautiful, and sleeping inside Mikumi park was fun. Would recommend Kihindo to everyone wanting to maximise their safari time for a great budget. Winnie from the office was a great help organising it too, and if you get Wiliam to accompany you, you can prize yourself lucky!

The safari exceeded all my expectations. I got a lot of information of the nature, animals and the wild life overall. I was lucky to see all the animals that can be seen in Mikumi. Also, my guide Wiliam told me a lot of the Tanzanian culture, habits and way of living. I found it very interesting and valuable. Something that one cannot rate in money. The 10 km hike was incredible with many waterfalls and a chance to swim in them. There was not a lot of “alone time”, so if you wish to have some during e.g. the meals, inform the organiser before hand. I felt very well taken care of, since Winnie messaged me every day and asked me how my day had been and is there anything that they can help me with. I can recommend KIHINDO tours & safari to others.

Our safari was really well organized, they adjusted our tour and fulfilled all our wishes, even changing some plans spontaneously when we asked for a change. We had two guides (the owner Isahya and Saloniki, a friend/coworker of him), they were laughing and talking a lot with us and with each other. They explained everything and answered every question. We had a really great time with both of them and the safari itself was really well organized. We saw all the animals we wished for, even two leopards. The boat trip was really special aswell. The accommodation and food was amazing and really clean and comfortable. They took really good care of us, even helping us after the safari trip to get through the country by bus and even organized a hotel for us in Songea. We called Isahya whenever we had a problem and he helped us right away, 24/7. All in all, it was the best safari experience, with an amazing cost-value ratio!
