Despite the lack of reviews we decided to take this 3 night 4 day trip from Marrakesh to Fez and were not disappointed. There was only the two of us with our driver, Mubarak. He was an excellent driver and spoke very good English. His knowledge of the country was extensive and he was very kind and considerate. He looked after us well and knew many people on the route. There are many extra stops not mentioned in the itinerary which were enjoyable. The camel trip across the beautiful desert was the highlight. We were nervous about this but needn’t have been as it wasn’t difficult. The desert camp and the two other hotels were all excellent with lovely and copious food. The desert camp and the third hotel were close together. This meant that one day was spent exploring the area close to the desert learning about the local culture and landscape, including a trip to an oasis and a Berber camp. We also heard a lot of music which we really enjoyed. The final day is a long, but enjoyable drive to Fez through the ever-changing landscape. Many thanks to the organisers and especially to Mubarak for a great trip. We could not have wished for a better companion. You could do a trip like this with a shared group with about 12-15 other people for less money but you wouldn’t get the personal approach and wouldn’t learn as much about Morocco.
Nice to hear that you enjoyed your trip and Thank you so much for your excellent review . I hope that you arrived home safe with good memories from our country and we hope to see you again in Morocco. Best regards.
