Ioannina war schon immer das Zentrum einer bis vor Kurzem ziemlich abgelegenen Region Griechenlands und musste daher eine Vielzahl von Kunden bedienen, von den Bergdörfern, die einmal pro Woche in die Stadt kamen, um Vorräte zu kaufen, bis hin zu Händlern Beamte der Region. Informative, interesting and indulgent
Alexis was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Ioannina. He was a great guide through the city and had historical and personal anecdotes for every corner of the city. The restaurants he selected made for perfect breaks throughout the tour. I had the best feta of my life, my first sip of tsipouro (ouch), a delicious kebab by the waterfront, and much more. Highly recommend this tour with Alexis.

A great culinary tour of Ioannina
It was a great way to see the city and sample the food over a four hour period! We enjoyed a good overview of the old part of the city. Our guide Alexander was very friendly and informative. We would highly recommend this tour

Hidden gems in Ioannina
A new challenge for the team of "Alpine Zone" - gastro-historical tour of Ioannina!! And Katerina and Vasilis did it more than perfect!!! Very knowledgeable about history of Ioannina and very opened heart to share with the travellers some gastronomical customs from the region!! We didn't know when the time flights and we highly and heartily recommend this tour!!! And try to ask for Katerina and Vasilis as guides!!! At the end, you are leaving friends and with a lot of good informations for restaurants and things to do nearby!!!❤
