1. First and foremost…. Haley was a great host! Also…she noted that if the tour is dead, the tour guests killed it. So be lively!! 2. The winery experiences were good. Learned a lot from Casamel. Had fun at Firefly. Fleetwood was a nice place to get a bite and listen to a live performer. 3. The amount of time spent at each winery was just enough. 4. Bring snacks. 5. The pickup was mid for us because some outdated information on the website had a few of us at an old pickup spot. 6. Also, Haley said we were her best tour group ever….so you have a lot to live up to. 😁

We really enjoyed it. One problem was meetup address was I correct. We did enjoy the comradity on the bus. The guide was great.

I had an amazing time with my family and friends ! We went on the tour on June 13th and Dan was our tour guide and he as amazing, informative, and just so much fun. The vineyards were top tier and I can't wait to go on another tour with him. Highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful time on our Vinyard Voyages wine tour yesterday! Dan, the owner and our tour leader was exceptional. He was quite friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable about the region and its varietals. We love to taste and not worry about getting behind the wheel. The tour was in a brand new midsize bus with about twenty passengers. Thank goodness for the excellent air-conditioning. In addition to playing trivia we had an excellent playlist of music for the entire journey. Dan took us to three different wineries, which were all welcoming and comfortable. All had very nice wines and of course we took home some bottles. At the second winery, we had the capability to order lunch in advance. The VV website made it easy. They offered various sandwiches, wraps salads, and my wife and I had a nice charcuterie board. The itinerary was spelled out nicely in advance, and it was so easy getting to the pick up spot taking the metro from Central DC. Thank you so much Dan for a wonderful day and we hope to return to see some different wineries later in the season.

A great tour: for a reasonable fee you visit three vineyards in just 8 hours. We started at 10 am and finished at 6 pm, and the time just flew: a superb guide Dan, coupled with a skilled driver Joseph and a high-spirited group of 19 visitors made the tour worth it. We laughed, cheered, ate, and sang along all the way- highly recommend!

As a travel advisor, I booked this trip to celebrate a client’s milestone birthday, and I decided to attend myself, it was truly a great experience from start to finish! My client had an amazing time, and our guide Dan was attentive, entertaining, and very knowledgeable about each location we visited. We all selected the Connoisseur package, and it was absolutely money well spent. The multiple tastings at the different vineyards were excellent, and each winery had its own unique vibe, beautiful scenery, and great customer service. There were about 15 people on the tour, including 3 birthdays being celebrated, which made the atmosphere even more fun and memorable. We also appreciated how organized everything was, and we arrived back at the meeting location right on time around 6 PM. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun new adventure, celebration activity, or relaxing day exploring Virginia wineries!

We used the Orange Metro line from downtown to get the Kiss and Ride pick up point. It was very easy. If you do not usually ride the Metro, you can pick up a metro card at a metro machine and scan it when riding. The tour instructions stated they pick you up at metro exit point. We found the van at the end of the parking lot. We went four wineries: October1, Casnel, Fleetwood Farms, and Firefly. At the third stop, Fleetwood, food was available for purchase (not included). I purchased chicken nachos for $25. My traveling companion bought a pepperoni flatbread. Everybody seemed to buy something. Dan had a traveling case for you to store any wine purchased during the drive. Dan did an excellent job entertaining everybody. Most wineries gave four pours. Cassel had six. I would recommend this tour.
