We are incredibly pleased with the services and friendly care provided during this safari experience. The days were well thought out, planned, and our tour guide Fred was very pleasant & made sure we were not only comfortable but made sure we were getting the most out of our experience. Would definitely recommend!
Charles is a lovely guide and very knowledgeable about the area. He is very passionate about conservation, the community and education. I heard a lot about the school he runs and his hopes for improving the area. Charles took care of everything. My only complaint is that because he likes to talk so much he didn't necessarily listen well to what I really wanted to do. I think we should have had better communication about the schedule and how I wanted to use the time. That is also largely on me, but I am relatively shy person, so I don't necessarily say what I want when confronted by a larger personality like Charles. I would definitely recommend Charles for anyone who wants a nice tour and wants to help the local community. He is doing great work.
I arrived Ugande at the last days before no one could travel anymore cause of the pandemic. It was a fantastic excursion with many wonderful impressions. We saw a lot of animals. Charles is the best driver. I've never felt safer. He knows a lot about his country, the nature, also about the people with their history. I'll continue to support his project. I'll be back next year to finish my journey. :-)
I was born around Murchison falls national park but never been to the northern part of the park, this time we had a family tours with Charles, he is good at allocating animals and we saw kobs, giraffes elephants. We enjoy the boat ride along the base of the waterfalls. I highly recommend pamoja safaris to all Ugandan.
Pamela Safari is an extrodinary company. Charles the guide, was amazing not only for spotting the animals but for his love of the country. I had been on safaris before but doing this one with Charles was a totally different experience. He has a great eye for spotting the animals but he also is very good at understanding what his clients want on the tour. He realized that we wanted to be entrenched in the culture and community. He stopped at local villages and asked if they would show us the village, homes and talk to us about their lives and cultures. He stopped at local craft/food markets for us to explore. Just a wonderful experience - best trip that I have ever been on. Thank you
It is the second time I have booked with Charles of Pamoja Safaris. Previously, I was with him 14 days. This time I was in a nearby country and had a long weekend and went to Uganda to go see animals in Uganda. He is an amazing spotter. He spotted a leopard a quarter mile off the road in a tree. I have traveled in ten countries in Africa and have experienced over 30 guides. No one come close to Charles.
