3 Tage Masai Mara Group Beitritt

First of all, I want to say that our safari guide, David, was really good and made the experience worthwhile! He tried his best and we managed to see many animals and have a good day. ​But the experience with the Jocky Tours office was really bad! Almost everything we had agreed upon beforehand by email was not delivered by them: 1. ​Preferred accommodation 2. ​Group maximum number 3. ​Final price ​As for the accommodation, even though they had guaranteed us a specific hotel, just before the payment and our trip to Maasai Mara, they told us that they would "upgrade" us to a hotel that was not even listed in their initial proposals. At least, after a lot of bargaining, they gave us a small discount. ​Regarding the maximum number of people in the group, it seems to be completely random depending on the daily demand and the tours. So NO ONE can guarantee such a thing. And I think that's OK, but do not make fake promises just so we choose your office. The trip back to Nairobi was with 8 people and it was really, really difficult. 6 hours of driving (quite dangerous in my opinion) with almost no space in the land cruiser. (a different new driver. Not David) The price. Jocky tours have never discussed with us beforehand that all the mentioned prices are for cash payment and if we need card we need to pay 5% more.

Good affordable option and one of the most reviewed ones. We did a 4 day Mara safari. 2 nights (3 days) are generally enough to see many animals, but we don’t regret staying longer. The communication before the trip was fast and efficient. They answered all our questions quickly. Unfortunately, some last-minute changes made the experience less enjoyable. We ended up staying at a different camp than we had understood was reserved, and some information, such as the card payment surcharge and that the return journey would be in a fully occupied vehicle, was not communicated to us in advance. To save the day, David M., our driver and guide, made the actual safari experience worth it. He was fun, knew where to go, and used his navigation and driving skills to get us to the right spots quickly.

This safari was truly an unforgettable experience! I booked my safari with Jocky Tours and, despite a last-minute change to my original accommodation, I was moved to Flair Camp Maasai Mara — and honestly, it turned out to be absolutely perfect. The camp was wonderful, the service was great, and everything was very well organized. But the highlight of the whole experience was definitely my guide, Brian Ondigo. He was amazing from beginning to end — extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the Maasai Mara, attentive, patient and always making sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment. Thanks to Brian, I had some incredible wildlife encounters and memories that I will never forget. He really went above and beyond to make the safari special, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Overall, I was very happy with Jocky Tours, the organization, communication and service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya — and if you are lucky enough to have Brian as your guide, you are in very good hands! 🐆🦁🐘❤️

We had an amazing safari with Jocky Tours, and our guide Alex was a huge part of what made the experience so memorable. From the beginning, Alex was friendly, professional, patient, and very easy to get along with. He created a relaxed atmosphere throughout the trip and always made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. What impressed us most was his experience during the game drives. Alex was constantly looking for wildlife and often spotted animals long before we could see them. He clearly knew the parks very well and had a great sense of where animals might be and how to position the vehicle for the best view. He was also extremely patient with us. Whenever we wanted to stay longer to watch an animal or take photos, he never rushed us. He always tried to find a good viewing position and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each sighting. Alex was very knowledgeable about the animals and explained their behavior, answered all of our questions, and shared interesting information throughout the safari. He was also an excellent and safe driver, even on some very rough roads. Most importantly, you could tell that Alex genuinely cared about giving us the best safari possible. He consistently put in extra effort to find animals, improve our viewing opportunities, and make sure everyone was having a good time. By the end of the safari, Alex felt more like someone we had been travelling with than simply our guide. His personality, knowledge, and effort made a great safari even better. Jocky Tours was well organized overall, but Alex was definitely the highlight of our trip. If you are booking with Jocky Tours, I would highly recommend asking for Alex. We had the best safari experience ever with Dickson and Philip. Dickson is incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife, and we learned so many fascinating things from him. Philip also has a great eye for animals and their behaviour, and he is an excellent driver, always going the extra mile to give us the best possible views. They were a fantastic team and truly made our safari unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This was a great experience. I loved the time spent in the Massai Mara park. Our tour guide was Francis, who made sure for us to enjoy the Sarafi to the fullest. I recommend everyone to book with him, as his 15- year experience will keep you safe and make your journey most memorable.

Julius was an amazing guide. If I was to recommend any tour with jocky tours I would tell them to request Julius. He is so knowledgeable and gave us so much information on each of the animals we saw. Thanks to him we saw the big 5 all in one day! I couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience. Definitely made my trip

He drove safely and worked so hard on the rough roads to make sure we could see as many animals as possible. Thanks to him, we were able to see so many amazing animals and create wonderful memories.
