We are a family that booked a 3-day tour to Manu Park with this Manu Jungle Trips agency. We had the best time during the 3 days. The food was very delicious. The lodges were very clean and cozy. The super guide was very knowledgeable. The hikes in The jungle was wonderful, we observed monkeys, birds, frogs, insects and some animals. We visited the lagoon where we took a rowing tour observing birds, alligators and giant trees. It was very beautiful. We recommend visiting the manu.
My experience with Manu Jungle Trips was truly exceptional. From the initial briefing to the very end of our journey, every person involved displayed a friendly and professional demeanor. Ronal was an incredible guide who made the trip truly memorable. The transportation was reliable, and the cabins we stayed in were cozy and inviting. The food provided was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving us consistently satisfied. I highly recommend Manu Jungle Trips for an unforgettable adventure.
The tour guide (Cleber) was good. Very knowledgable. This is an intense tour though so be prepared for 4am wake ups and long days. There’s are a few things though that weren’t good though. 1. Finally, I paid for a private room and wasn’t given one on either night. I requested a refund and the tour operator started harassing me, showing up at my hotel, constantly calling me, texting me…even going as far as saying he’ll call the police on me to stop me from flying back to England. Obviously that’s impossible, but the threats weren’t appreciated nonetheless. I had to contact Viator to sort this out in the end 2. There was a lack of communication on timings and what you were going to do on that day. For example, one of the days they took us on a boat and said “you can go swimming here”. But women weren’t prepared for this and didn’t have swim suits, towels etc. It also wasn’t communicated about no power, electricity or hot water so you can’t plan ahead (i.e charge your phone / portable charger ahead of time). 3. You have to wear Wellington boots for some of the days, which were extremely uncomfortable - for 2+ hrs walking across rocks, stones etc. They gave me blisters. 4. There’s no soap or towels provided in either of the lodges 5. The shower was see through, so everyone outside could see you naked. 6. A big part of the excursion is just driving in the van. It’s 6 hrs to drive back to Cusco, so bear this in mind too. There’s only one road into the jungle from Cusco and it was blocked at various points of the journey. Sometimes for 10 mins, sometimes 1 hr
