3-tägige Tour durch die Halong-Bucht und Kreuzfahrt in die Lan-Ha-Bucht

Our 3-day Tour to Halong Bay started off great as we were picked up in a luxury van and a guide who immediately explained the trip and gave more information on Hanoi city. However, halfway through the ride we were changed to another bus that didn’t have enough space for luggage and legs. Also, the first impression of our new guide was bad. He didn’t greet us at all. It turned out it was’t just a first impression. Hang (name MF Tour guide) was more interested in his phone and cigarettes than explaining to our group what the itinerary was or giving us explanations. He was unenthousiastic and not interested in getting to know our group at all leaving us very disappointed. Ofcourse, Halong Bay itself is beautiful and the cave and Pearl Farm we visited were a great experience. The extra night on Cat Ba island was good, but if you’re rushed in time not a must! In conculusion, definitely book a Tour to Halong Bay as the nature is beautiful, but make sure you get a guide that is happy to be there too.

This is my first time on a cruise ship and I really had a great time. There were plenty of food available (as stated in the itinerary) and basic amenities were available on board. Staffs were friendly and they spoilt is with the delicious foods. Asian cuisines were served on board. We even learned how to make the fresh spring rolls. They really took good care of us and prepare food for us based on our dietary requirement (vegetarian / no seafood / no pork etc) which was great. I met alot of people on board and we have since become friends (there were about 12 of us). It was also interesting to visit the mysterious cave and pearl farm for the 3 days tour. Overall, it was a great experience! Please book this tour if you have plenty of time in Hanoi. Note: If you go solo, you might end up sharing room on the cruise and hotel in Cat Ba (which was not stated in the itinerary). I was asked to pay additional USD85 to the tour leader for privacy.
