From the Pickup to the Equipment and the Food everything was planned perfectly. The Guides suggested us a route but we were free to do what we wanted. Organisation was well thought through and very complete 😄 Tip: bring some Water shoes and a Hammock if you want a sleep alternative on sunny nights
Although I had done several day kayak trips this was my first multiple day, overnight trip- and my first experience of wild camping. I was slightly nervous but Get Out Kayak were amazing- from the top quality gear that makes the experience easier, to the reimagine and local knowledge which meant I spent the second day (the longest part of my trip) with a tail wind and in calm waters, they delivered. I would recommend this for solo travellers, but also for families and groups of friends. The scenery and nature is amazing and from a kayak you see it all. Great company, great location, great product!
We had the bestest of times - splashing around in the middle of nowhere dropping off for a sauna here a dip there its such an awesome way to travel - and Get Out were super organised but low key kept it simple super personable - will definitely be heading this way again :)
We could sleep in places, that were so special, that I'll never forget them in my life. The equipment we got was perfect for the trip and the food was more then enough and really tasty.
Stunning area good for beginners, really nice staff with much knowledge, the recommended route was really nice, we had a wonderful sleepingspot, the equipmet was perfect (rented camping kit).
I went on a kayak tour with friends and it was an incredible experience! Before the tour, you can take a shower and enjoy some coffee or tea. The staff is fantastic and ensures your journey is 100% safe and comfortable. You'll be greeted by stunning landscapes and an amazing adventure. This tour is perfect for both beginners and extreme sports enthusiasts, as you can choose your own challenges. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful tour (my husband, our 12 year old son . and myself) and were incredibly impressed with how well organised everything was by getoutkayak. We booked the tour from Germany and all our questions were answered very well by Jakob and Alma in advance by email or telephone. We were even allowed to bring our dog with us (tip: get a life jacket for the dog before the trip). We did an easy and manageable tour totalling 20 km, which even I (50 years old with no kayaking experience) was able to manage. We met up with Alma from getoutkayak at the canoe centre on the free day morning for coffee and biscuits. Every detail was explained to us, from the camping equipment to the food to the toilet bag ;-). Everything was well planned. The food package was also great, every meal was planned and recorded on sealed recipe cards. The food was very, very, very good and there was a lot of it. Swedish kötbuller with gravy, mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam on the first evening at sunset. The camping chairs were also marvellous. All the equipment is of very high quality, absolutely new and clean. The bed mattresses were incredibly comfortable, they are slightly higher and you sleep fantastically on them. The landscape of the Stockholm archipelago is beautiful and highly recommended for a tour. We had previously considered doing a tour of one of the two large lakes in the south-west of Sweden and in retrospect we were glad that we chose the Stockholm archipelago, the landscape is beautiful. It was also great to camp on the rocks.Like Lauren from England, we arrived a little late at the canoe hire on Sunday, but that wasn't a problem either, Alma came to the hire after work and helped us unload our gear in a relaxed manner.I thought it was great that we didn't have to clean the equipment ourselves, but that everything was organised by getoutkayak.Really great, we're looking forward to our next tour. And with the dog (Golden Retriever) everything worked out wonderfully, he was in a triple kayak with my husband and son and I was in a single kayak. Many thanks to Alma and Jakob!
Great experience to explore Sweden this way. Warmly welcomed on arrival and explained everything for the trip what I needed to know. Once I left it was up to me to discover the wonders of the region Would recommend this experience to everyone
Fantastic nature and the crew working at the rental place is super friendly and helpful! They provide all the gear and information you need, experienced or totally new to kayaking.
Cannot recommend Get Out Kayak enough! I was a little unsure at first that I’d enjoy a full 3 days out on a kayak, but there was so much to see and do. Between the beautiful camp sites (just beware of mosquitoes) and cool island villages, this was a unique experience. GOK staff are a great resource and helped my friend and I plan the trip, it was apparent that they know the area well. GOK is easily accessed from Stockholm via the bus route 433 or 434. Staff have a wonderful setup with coffee and snacks. Definitely recommend!
