Von den 5 Touren, die ich anbiete, nehme ich Sie heute mit nach Châteauneuf-du-Pape und zu seinen weltberühmten Weinen. Ich werde Sie in zwei verschiedene Gegenden mitnehmen, die zu den bekanntesten zählen. Sie werden mindestens 6 verschiedene Weine verkosten, darunter 2 Weißweine (Weißweine machen nur 8 % der Produktion von Châteauneuf-du-Pape aus und sind im Ausland sehr schwer zu finden). 30 Autominuten von Avignon entfernt Verkostung im ersten Weingut von Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Es ist eines der ältesten in der Appellation und wurde vor mehr als 300 Jahren erbaut. Dort werden Sie die berühmten Rotweine von Châteauneuf-du-Pape probieren, aber auch die Weißweine, die nur 5 % der Produktion ausmachen. Diese Kellerei hat sich dafür entschieden, die traditionelle Mischung von Châteauneuf-du-Pape beizubehalten, nämlich die 13 Rebsorten der Appellation (rot und weiß) bei den Rotweinen und die 6 weißen Rebsorten bei den Weißweinen. Dauer: ca. 1 Stunde. Dann begeben Sie sich zu einem weiteren historischen Anwesen in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, einem der größten in der Appellation. Sie werden auch die Rot- und Weißweine von Châteauneuf-du-Pape probieren, jedoch mit einer moderneren Mischung aus den Hauptrebsorten der Appellation (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre). This was the perfect outing for a rainy / overcast day! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the wine tour fun and enjoyable!

We had a great wine tasting experience. Our guide was prompt, friendly, and professional. He had a good working knowledge of the region and selected excellent chateaux for the tastings. He was clearly well received by the staff at the wineries as well. Overall, it was an excellent 3 hour wine tour.
Our guide Arnaud was fantastic! He was local and had a great relationship with the wineries. Both wineries were great. Lots of tastings at the first winery and good sample sizes. The second winery had fewer tastings and smaller sample sizes. Overall great tour and fantastic guide in a true "bucket list" region for any wine lover.

Our guide met us outside the Hotel Bistro and drove us the 30 minutes to Chauteau Neuf du Pape to visit the first vineyard. All the while, he shared the history of the places we were going to see that afternoon. The locations are stunning! Loved the history and bought the wine. You won’t be sorry.
