This was the best part of our whole trip. The guides were amazing, the water was alittle rough but manageable. We caught a barracuda and they cooked it for us for 25$ with extra food.

We spent 3 hours trolling the water with no bites. The one bite we did get, the fish got off. At the end we did end up catching a “baby” barracuda. The guides were nice, this was just not what we envisioned for a 3 hour private deep sea fishing tour.

So Fun! Weather was bad so we only caught 2 fish! The boat was nice that we rode on just a little rough. But still very enjoyable.

Axel and crew were top notch. He was very upfront with the wind, sea weed and the trip. While we did not catch a fish, we had 3 solid bites. Those who are coming on a cruise, my wife and I both were nervous about it but Axel helped orchestrate getting our taxi to him and getting us back. We highly recommend Axel!

Great excursion. We booked the 3 hour fishing trip. Quick taxi ride $4 per person. The boat was small and the seas were a little rough. The captain was going to keep us near the reefs due to the rough seas but he asked if we would be able to handle going out past the reef. We don't get motion sick so we told him it was alright to go past the reef. The captain constantly checked in to make sure we were doing great with the rough seas. 2 big strikes in the first 2.5 hours but didn't get the hook to set. Finally around the 2:45 minute mark we got a barracuda on the line and my boy was able to bring it in! We came back to shore and they cooked up the barracuda for us for $25. Got fried and grilled barracuda that they prepared fresh for us. Food was amazing! We were nervous doing this excursion as it is not part of carnival packages. It was super simple to orchestrate ourselves with no issues. We did the 3 hour to make sure we had time to get back to the boat and cook the fish.

The experience was good outside of the fact I got seasick. We only caught one fish but the weather was the determining factor as it was rainy and somewhat cool. I look forward to trying it again with more meds on board.

This was an awesome fishing trip! The guides were super helpful and nice. About 5 minutes or less into the trip we had a 5 foot sailfish on the line. Getting that fish in was definitely a challenge, but our guides made the moment possible. They really gave it their all to make sure we got that fish in, and they were probably even more excited about it than us! My family and I’s experience was great and it was probably the highlight of our vacation. You can never promise a catch on a fishing trip, but doing something like this is so amazing. After the trip, Taider sent me all the pictures of the fish as well which was super cool!
