Reiseverlauf
Die Tour beginnt in Bertioga, wo wir ankommen und eine Fähre in den Norden der Insel Santo Amaro nehmen. Vor der Wanderung erklärt der Reiseleiter die Sicherheit und führt die Anweisungen während der Wanderung durch.
Wir beginnen den Weg durch die Hans-Staden-Strecke bis zum ersten Strand. In dieser Strecke besuchen wir die Ruinen einer alten Kirche, die vom Regenwald verschluckt wurde. Am Strand "Prainha Branca" angekommen, halten wir für Fotos an und setzen die Wanderung über den gesamten Strand bis zur Rocky Coast fort, wo wir die zweite Runde der Wanderung beginnen. Entfernung zum ersten Strand: 2 km
Die zweite Runde der Wanderung wird auf einem Pfad durch den Regenwald oder entlang der Rocky Coast zum zweiten Strand "Prainha Preta" durchgeführt, einem einsamen Strand, der vollständig vom faszinierenden Regenwald umgeben ist, wo wir anhalten, um schwimmen zu gehen und mehr zu genießen von der Natur und den Schönheiten des Ortes. Entfernung zum zweiten Strand: 1,5 km
In der dritten Runde der Wanderung gehen wir zum Strand "Praia do Camburizinho", einem paradiesischen Strand, den nur wenige Abenteurer erreichen können. Neben dem blaugrünen Meer verfügt der Strand über einen natürlichen Pool mit frischem und kristallinem Wasser, eine echte Einladung für ein erfrischendes Bad. Entfernung zum Camburi Wasserfall: 1,5 km
Nachdem wir den Ort genossen haben, setzen wir unsere Wanderung zum "Camburi" Wasserfall fort, der sich auf einem Hügel befindet, wo wir ein erfrischendes Wasserfallbad nehmen und im natürlichen Pool.
In der letzten Runde der Wanderung kehren wir zum ersten Strand zurück, wo wir Zeit haben, um noch viel mehr zu genießen, bevor wir nach São Paulo zurückkehren. Rückweg: 2 km

The hike is a mix of jungle and beach. The jungle parts were, at times, challenging due to loose ground or loose tree hand holds for climbing. Our hike was 9.92miles and took about 7 hours. We loved it! Our guide, Mauricio, was exellent! Mauricio provided a great education and history as well as techical advice for climbing. We packed lunches and there was an opportunity to stop for breakfast and stop on the way back. In additon to the guide, there was a seperate driver for our trip.

Mauricio was an amazing guide! Very helpful, knowledgeable and funny with great energy! Me and partner felt safe the entire time. He made the experience 10 times better!!! Would definitely book again. The hike was challenging but so worth it for the amazing beaches!

booked a month in advance. Received quick confirmation. After that no more communication. Contact us a few days in advance. I wouldn't get a definitive answer until the evening before. Called several times that evening. Ultimately was told that the tour would not go ahead. Do not book here. Last minute policy and you end up with nothing without cancellation information.

I booked this trip a month in advance and 1 week prior to our booking they canceled! I engaged their chat to find out what was going on and was told that it was canceled locally and had no other reason why. They didn't have anything available to book on the days we were available. Very frustrating. I will never book anything with them again. I simply dont trust then to follow through with bookings.
We are sorry for not being able to carry out the tour as per your reservation, but you were informed upon cancellation that there were problems at the destination which made it impossible to carry out the tour. We had a warning from local authorities about the possibility of landslides on the slopes due to the large amount of rain that week, which made the tour impossible for safety reasons. This hike was excellent! The views are so much more beautiful than the photos online show, we got to see banana trees, beaches, and many butterflies. It's quite physical, with some minor scrambling and moments of going off track, but achievable if you're fairly active or used to hiking. The view at the final beach is completely worth it and the hike will be adjusted to your fitness/level of challenge. I recommend you bring snacks, something sugary and plenty of water so it's comfortable.

Amazing tour, would recommend! Even on a cold and rainy day we had a great time. The rain helped keep others off the island and we essentially had a private tour of the entire island.

Mauricio was an exceptional guide. We loved exploring the old church ruins and learning more about the history of Brazil. The island is beautiful and the waterfall is definitely worth the extra hike. Mauricio not only helped us during the hike, he also helped us figure out how to travel for the rest of our trip through Brazil with tons of helpful tips.
