Nehmen Sie an der Great London Pub Experience teil und besuchen Sie die schönsten, historischsten und ungewöhnlichsten Pubs in London. Sie werden London wie ein echter Einheimischer erleben und mit einem unterhaltsamen lokalen Reiseführer einige der besten traditionellen Pubs und versteckten Schätze Londons besuchen. Wir werden geheime Gassen erkunden und erstaunliche Geschichten aus einigen der besten Pubs Londons hören, in denen die Menschen seit über 500 Jahren trinken. Wir erfahren etwas über den Ursprung der berühmten Londoner Gin-Paläste des 19. Jahrhunderts und die historische Gin-Palast-Kultur, während wir durch Straßen schlendern, in denen einst Bettler, Diebe und Vagabunden lebten. Wir werden bis zu fünf kultige Kneipen entdecken, die von einigen der berüchtigtsten Persönlichkeiten Londons besucht werden und von denen jede ihre eigene Geschichte zu erzählen hat. Dazu gehören einige der am besten erhaltenen traditionellen Pubs Englands. Jeder Pub, den wir besuchen, wird eine ganz andere Atmosphäre und Geschichte haben, aber alle bieten in einem kunstvollen Gebäude ein feines Angebot an alkoholischen und alkoholfreien Getränken.

Wir begeben uns zunächst zum Blackfriar Public House, besprechen die Tudor-Zeit bis hin zur neueren Geschichte dieser Gegend und sehen das schöne Beispiel eines Art-déco-Pubs im Blackfriar.
Wir gehen zu einem viktorianischen Gasthaus außerhalb des höchsten Strafgerichtshofs des Landes. Wir diskutieren über Verbrechen und Bestrafung und das historische Leben in London.
Wir besprechen dieses alte Viertel Londons und besuchen eine Kneipe, die für viele ein Geheimnis ist, aber erstmals unter der Herrschaft Heinrichs VIII. für die Arbeiter unter Bischof Goodrich gebaut wurde.
Wir besuchen das Tempelviertel und erfahren mehr über die Geschichte des Common Law.
Wir hören die Geschichte rund um einen der wichtigsten Menschen in der Geschichte Londons.
Wir besuchen und enden bei Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. Voller Geschichte hören Sie die Geschichten dieser großartigen Taverne, in der wir unsere Tour beenden.

Had a brilliant experience on this tour with Wesley. I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of learning, exploring, and having a cheeky cheers. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting London. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Fun walk around the city of London discovering some iconic British pubs and learning interesting bits of English history - all while enjoying a delicious beer! Wesley was hilarious and we had a great time.

Please excuse the tardiness of my review as life gets in the way… That being said, booking this tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to London! Wesley, started as our guide and became our friend by the conclusion. Our tour was small, myself, daughter (25) and her boyfriend (24), which played to our advantage as Wesley really brought the kids out of their shells… he is friendly, engaging and his London knowledge (not just about pubs) is infectious! We really had the best time and the kids couldn’t stop talking about the conversations we all had long after our trip was finished. Please consider booking this tour, you won’t regret it!

The Great Historic Pub Experience tour conducted by Wesley was just that : great ! Wesley was well informed , personable and professional. Great walking Pub tour! Wesley met us on time and took us to 4 wonderful historic pubs He shared so much history of the pubs and the area while we winded our way through street, courtyards and hidden alleys of the city. Having a pint at the pubs really makes you feel a part of London. Great way to start our trip. We highly recommend!

We had a wonderful Pub Tour provided by Wesley for our first trip to London and our first experience in the city itself. Wesley met us promptly and led us on a tour of four fantastic historic pubs filling us with the history of the pubs and the areas they were located as we winded our way through beautiful streets, courtyards and alleyways.
