Drei Hauptstädte, ein unvergesslicher Tag – mit einer Route, die um Ihre Energie gebaut wurde, nicht um die Karte. Frisch fahren wir nach Budapest : Ihr Fortgeschrittener füllt die Straße mit der Geschichte des Habsburgerreiches, so dass der Blick von der Fischerbastei über Donau und Parlament schon etwas bedeutet. Spazieren Sie auf dem Burghügel Buda, sehen Sie die Kettenbrücke und die Matthiaskirche und spüren Sie, warum Budapest das "Paris des Ostens" genannt wird. Freizeit zum Mittagessen — Jenny weist Sie auf ihre Lieblingsorte vor Ort hin (auf eigene Kosten). Der Rückweg ist genau dort gebrochen, wo er sein sollte: in Bratislava, einer kompakten mittelalterlichen Altstadt — Krönungskathedrale, skurrile Bronzestatuen, Burgblick. Und der Teil, den unsere Gäste lieben: Von Bratislava ist es nur etwa eine Stunde zurück nach Wien. Wir sind Jenny & Vlad, ein zweiköpfiges Team : Berufskraftfahrer und lizenzierter Fortgeschrittener & Fotograf. Wir sind immer ehrlich über Distanzen – dies ist ein ganzer Tag mit echten Fahrten zwischen drei Ländern, und wir haben jede Stunde davon so gestaltet, dass sie komfortabel ist.

Ihr privater Fahrer und Fortgeschrittener holt Sie von Ihrem Hotel in Wien ab. Panoramafahrt am Morgen nach Budapest (ca. 2,5 Stunden) — Live-Kommentare, Kaffee & Fotostopps auf Anfrage. Setzen Sie sich auf Ihren bequemen Platz, während wir über die ungarische Grenze nach Osten fahren. Nutzen Sie diese Zeit, um der Geschichte des österreichisch-ungarischen Reiches zu lauschen oder einfach nur ein Nickerchen zur Vorbereitung auf den Tag zu machen.
Willkommen in der majestätischen Hauptstadt Ungarns! Wir beginnen unsere Erkundung auf der hügeligen Budaer Seite, wo die Geschichte die Donau überblickt. Dank Ihres privaten Fahrers umgehen wir den anstrengenden Aufstieg und fahren direkt ins Herz des Schlossviertels. Hier können Sie das atemberaubende Äußere der Matthiaskirche bewundern, die berühmt ist für ihr lebendiges, buntes Ziegeldach, das im Sonnenlicht leuchtet. Nur wenige Schritte entfernt besuchen wir die märchenhaften Türme der Fischerbastei. Von den Terrassen genießen Sie den ikonischsten Panoramablick auf das ungarische Parlament und den Fluss darunter – ein perfekter Moment für unvergessliche Fotos, bevor wir auf die andere Seite der Stadt überqueren. Bevor wir aufbrechen, können wir je nach Ihren Vorlieben zum Mittagessen anhalten : Wir können uns hier im Burgviertel auf eine traditionelle, wärmende Gulaschsuppe (oder Fischsuppe) setzen, oder wenn Sie eine leichtere Option bevorzugen, um Zeit zu sparen, können wir später auf der Pestseite ein paar Sandwiches holen.
Anschließend fahren wir über die Margaretenbrücke über die Donau, vorbei an der grünen Margareteninsel. Diese Route bietet den atemberaubendsten, unverbauten Blick auf das neogotische Parlamentsgebäude, das sich im Fluss spiegelt – eine perfekte Fotomöglichkeit. Auf der flachen Pestseite fahren wir hautnah am schieren Maßstab des Parlaments vorbei und stehen vor der herrlichen Stephansbasilika, der größten Kirche der Stadt. Wenn Sie sich für Geschichte interessieren, können wir auch einen kurzen Spaziergang hinunter zum Flussufer machen, um die "Schuhe an der Donauufer", ein tief bewegendes Denkmal für die Opfer des Zweiten Weltkriegs zu sehen. Dieser Besuch ist optional und hängt ganz von Ihren Wünschen und Energieniveaus ab, bevor wir in die Slowakei abreisen.
Nach dem Mittagessen verlassen wir Ungarn und fahren in Richtung Slowakei. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 2 Stunden, so dass Sie eine perfekte Gelegenheit haben, sich auszuruhen und Ihre Eindrücke (und Mittagessen) zu verdauen.
Wir kommen in Bratislava an, der charmanten „Krönungsstadt“, die einen reizvollen Kontrast zur weiten Pracht Budapests bietet. Hier ist alles intim und begehbar. Wir machen einen gemütlichen Spaziergang durch die Fußgängerzone Altstadt, passieren das mittelalterliche Michaelstor und bewundern das historische Alte Rathaus. Sie sehen den Martinsdom, wo ungarische Könige gekrönt wurden, und jagen nach den berühmten skurrilen Bronzestatuen der Stadt, darunter "Cumil", der Kanalarbeiter, der aus einem Schacht lugt. Dieser Besuch ist die perfekte, entspannende Art, die Beine zu strecken und die gemütliche Atmosphäre vor der letzten kurzen Fahrt zurück nach Wien zu genießen.
Bratislava → Wien : nur 1 Stunde — die kürzeste Etappe, die man sich für zuletzt erspart hat. Entspannen Sie sich auf dem Rücksitz, während Ihr Fahrer Sie sicher zurück zu Ihrem Hotel bringt und einen unvergesslichen Tag mit drei Hauptstädten abschließt.

There was a large amount of driving on this tour, but the conversations with them and Jenny's overview of each city made the time fly by. We did not feel rushed in either Budapest or Bratislava. Jenny was able to show us the major sites in each city. She took the time to answer our questions and explain the history and relevance of each location. It was a long day, but well worth it. Fascinating trip to multiple places. There is nothing better when traveling than having a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Jenny has a university degree in History from Bratislava, and she uses her deep experience to weave together stories of the politics, religion, and historical personalities involved in the castles, churches, and memorials that we visited. Vlad our driver was very professional and safe. I appreciated that we could be dropped off and picked up very close to tourist entrances. So much better than a large bus service that parks a distance away and mandates a long walk to the place of interest. Budapest is one of the grand European capitals which should not be missed. The architecture was stunning. Bratislava has a very Slavic feel, different from nearby Vienna which is surprising as they are only an hour’s drive apart. I would highly recommend both this tour and others provided by CozyTravel. The personal service , communication and reliability are invaluable.

We had booked a private tour from Vienna to Bratislava and Budapest, but the driver never showed up and we received no communication. Bad experience and totally unreliable, trip ruined and service absolutely not recommended.

Jenny and her partner, Vladimir, were amazing guides. Vladimir was a very safe driver and let us out at convenient spots so we didn’t spend unnecessary time searching for parking. Jenny’s knowledge of the history and culture of Budapest and Bratislava was amazing. They were both kind and caring about our needs. They took us to the “not to be missed” places but we never felt rushed. This was a fantastic day with a fantastic couple!

Jenny and her partner were super knowledgeable, friendly and very reliable. They recommended excellent restaurant in Budapest and fantastic ice cream shop in Bratislava. Their car was very comfortable, even having the possibility of reclining a little the seats to take a nap while driving between the cities. We had a fantastic day trip to Bratislava and Budapest. Our guides Jenny and her husband picked us up at our hotel to start our full day tour. They were both extremely knowledgeable about the history, geography and peoples from both capitals and gave us an excellent and thorough tour of these beautiful cities. They were very friendly and great guides and hosts. They made sure we comfortable and saw all the most interesting parts of the cities at a very easy and relaxed pace. We had plenty of time to look, ask questions, stop for and shop for souvenirs.
