We had an unforgettable experience exploring Zhangjiajie, and it was all thanks to our incredible tour guides, Liz and Dora, and our fantastic driver, Gong. They took us to some of the most breathtaking places we’ve ever seen, including the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, the Stairway to Heaven, and the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Every stop was spectacular, but what truly made the trip special was the people guiding us. Liz and Dora were amazing—kind, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. They made sure everyone was comfortable, answered all of our questions, and shared fascinating information about each location. Their enthusiasm and warmth made every moment enjoyable, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. A special thank you to our driver, Gong, who got us everywhere safely and smoothly. He was professional, friendly, and always had a smile on his face. We always felt safe in his hands, even on the winding mountain roads. If you’re planning a trip to Zhangjiajie, I can’t recommend Liz, Dora, and Gong highly enough. They are an incredible team who truly care about their guests, and they turned an already beautiful destination into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you all for making our trip so memorable!

The three-day trip to Zhangjiajie was fantastic. We visited the Glass Bridge in the Grand Canyon, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain. The weather was bright and sunny for most of the trip. Though it rained on the day we toured Tianmen Mountain, we were lucky enough to enjoy amazing sea of clouds surrounded by mist. Our tour guide Jenny arranged the itinerary perfectly and helped us avoid crowds so we didn’t have to wait in long queues. She took great care of us throughout the whole journey, making our trip relaxing and enjoyable. One small note is we would have appreciated learning more history in each of the sites we visited. I would recommend the tour to make better use of time and to ensure you cover trip highlights!

I am retired and travel the world independently. I typically book all my own tickets and plan my own travel to the areas I want to see. My 60 day trip through China was no different. However, when I looked at Zhangjiajie, the sprawling area with numerous places was a bit daunting, so I opted to book a guided 3 day tour. I’m glad I did. Our tour guide, Amy, effortlessly took us through all the places I knew I wanted to go, and added many more stops that enhanced my visit. Amy is a local, born and raised in Zhangjiajie. She is energetic, knowledgeable and fluent in English. She has a great personality and sense of humor, but more importantly, the leadership and organizational skills needed to get things moving. I never waited in line for tickets and she told me what I needed to enter the gate (passport, ticket or just my face). She was always waiting on the other side with her driver nearby. Zhangjiajie is an absolutely wonderful place. I’m thankful I had the chance to experience it completely with Amy’s help.

Cara was an amazing guide. We were so fortunate to be able to spend three days with her. Her English was clear and easy to understand. She reached out to us ahead of the trip to answer any questions and to make arrangements for our travels. As a local, she has so much invaluable information about the parks, the province, and life in China. It was so insightful and interesting to have additional of context. We had so much fun on the trip. We had rain 2 out of 3 of the days but Cara was able to provide suggestions on how best to navigate the park. The agency had reserved VIP passes for some of the sections that had longer wait times. Cara helped us determine if it was worth using or whether we should save our money. In our off time, she gave us suggestions on places to eat, things to do, and made any additional arrangements required for our trip. It was an excellent experience. Thank you again, Cara!!!

Our tour guide Vicky and her supporting team of drivers were excellent to giving a knowledgeable and smooth experience - from meeting us at the hotel and making solid recommendations as which sequence of activities to start. We did not have to think about anything but to enjoy it the 3 full days. Her team also dropped us off at the airport and managed the luggage movement between the 2 towns in ZJJ. On top of that, her suggestions for lunch restaurants were top notched, and as well as our last minute idea to see a famous performance show - her team was able to get tickets reserved for us. She was bilingual in English and Chinese of course, so our interaction was easy either methods.

Overall it was an amazing experience! Hanna was very knowledgable, friendly, accomodating, and excellent at guiding us. The tour itself was flexible also to cater for two children and a senior. Highly recommend! Expect big crowds, even in the low season.
