Een 3-daagse gorillatrekking in Bwindi, Oeganda, start in Kigali, Rwanda of Entebbe/Kampala, Oeganda. Beginnen en eindigen in Rwanda is een kortere rit. Tijdens deze trekking bezoekt u de Batwa-pygmeeën voor een culturele ervaring. De Batwa-pygmeeën waren de oorspronkelijke bewoners van het Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park, voordat ze buiten het park werden verplaatst om de weg vrij te maken voor de bescherming van berggorilla's. 3-daagse gorillatour in Oeganda: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park ligt langs de grens van Oeganda met de Democratische Republiek Congo en grenst aan het Virunga National Park. Het park is uitgeroepen tot UNESCO-werelderfgoed vanwege de biodiversiteit en het belang ervan voor de algehele ecologie. Het is een waterwingebied dat wordt gevoed door talloze rivieren en meren. I just got back from gorilla trekking with Sankofa Afrika and I’m still buzzing. From the briefing to the last step back at base, everything was seamless. Our guide William was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure we got the best views while respecting the gorillas’ space. Seeing a family in the wild was unreal — 1 hour of hiking for 1 hour with them, and every minute was worth it. I saw silverback 🤩🤣🤩🤩🤩 so huge and big I could hear the beat of it's heart Highly recommend if you want it done right, safe, and responsibly.
We had a great time on our private Gorilla trekking tour. The guide put us on a gorilla family that had lots of babies and a very chilled silverback. The trekking wasn’t too strenuous and it was a surreal experience. The tour did not go as planned but the guide ensured we were well looked after and taken to the airport on time. Definitely recommend if spending an hour with the mountain gorillas is on your bucket list.

’ve always wanted to trek the Rwenzori Mountains, and Sankofa made this adventure possible. Uganda is home to some truly beautiful, hidden waterfalls, and Sankofa took us on a guided trek to explore these wonders. We hiked through lush greenery, encountering small villages along the way, before reaching a spectacular waterfall where we could cool off and take photos. Sankofa’s guide was excellent at explaining the unique flora and fauna along the trail, making the hike informative as well as visually stunning. An absolute gem of an experience for nature lovers!
