The local provider of the tour - The Whales de Ballenas - never picked me up at the designated place/time. Nor did they respond to my calls and in-app messages. As a result, I missed the excursion and got no acknowledgement or explanation. Think twice before using them. Very unprofessional.
This ended up getting cancelled because of not enough attendance, which is fine, however the organizer never got back to me in confirm the cancellation the day before which was frustrating.
too expensive ,and especially only 5 jumps or slides ... the Dominicans who have charge of this site do what they can ( excellent security )but 5 jumps c is too little for the price
So fun! Our driver Manuel was so great! Such a fun experience! Only downside was that we were there with every cruise ship passenger on the island. It was BUSY!
It was beautiful, however the number of people was overwhelming and it made it unenjoyable. The tour guides and the large groups that needed pictures taken every few feet was annoying. There were long waiting times between the waterfalls. The walk to get there was longer than expected and would not recommend for someone that can’t walk 2 miles there and back.
Our guide Carlos was amazing. He really accommodated all the different ages in our group. He was entertaining and very knowledgeable. He never rushed us and was always making sure we were all safe at all times. Highly Recommend this activity and if you’re lucky, you will get “Carlito” as your guide!
Fun adventure. Lots of walking at beginning but then in the water almost entirely for the rest of the time. They have bathrooms and showers and ability to purchase or rent water shoes and other souveniers. Great buffet at end.
Fun tour ! The falls are super fun and we had a blast jumping, swimming and sliding into them. We got picked up and dropped off and it was just us so it was personalized and relaxed. The pictures are a bit unnecessary and expensive and you can do without them.
