The path is jungle like with beautiful scenery. The falls weren’t running fast because it was in September but still a nice spot. Our guide, Elvio, was organized and knowledgeable. We loved the 1/2 mile tunnel too!!

Very disappointed as tour operator did not show up to pick us up, for our walking tour, and was not contactable by the phone number given on the booking voucher. After waiting over an hour at the pickup location, I contact Viator via the app who were very helpful and organised a refund as they were all so unable to get in contact with EXPLORE NATURE. Thanks to this company our last day in Maderia was spoiled. Would be extremely wary booking with this company. Still waiting for them to reach out to me to give a good reason why our trip was not fulfilled. We were at the specified pickup location 15 minutes before the required time. One very unhappy traveller.

Well organised from the hotel pick up to the drop off afterwards. Paulo our guide worked hard to make sure everybody in the group was comfortable with the pace and kept informed about what was happening. The poxt walk coffee/drinks stop was definitely a case of going the extra mile! Definitely Recommended!!
