The East African combined trip was the best of my dream, explored East Africa and we really enjoyed the beauty of the land , guide Herman was the master of the knowledge features in East Africa ,I really thank the whole team of Inspire African Safaris for the wonderful adventure
We planned to go for a family trip in East Africa with Airways TT. The process was amazing and everything was carefully planned by Airways team. The places booked for accommodation were all comfortable with nice rooms and had very fancy restaurants that served us with very delicious meals that we had not had in a long time. We had a very good guide, Richard he was a good orator, very communicative and helped us very much in having a successful tour around the beautiful scenery of East Africa. He always briefed us on the places we were to reach while in particular areas. He led us through the game drives and we saw different kinds of species like birds which included herrons, eagles, the umbrella acacia trees at Masai-Maras. We saw animals like cheetahs, lions and elephants however it was surprising seeing how the cheetahs were so greedy because they always wanted to get what other animals had got to feed on. Most of the places were fabulous and nice for taking pictures that would add on the beautiful memories during our tour however lake Manyara was really good for photography. The experience at Serengeti was overwhelming, we saw very many beautiful things beyond our expectations. The park had a very large area where we were able to put up tents in a private space that was prepared for us and enjoyed our picnic, lunch which was served was very good, the game drives at Serengeti and Ngorongoro were very interesting and we were even able to at least see two of the big five and other animals like the Nile crocodiles. Our guide told us interesting stories about some cultures in Uganda especially while at kibale and Buhoma around Bwindi, we saw the Rwenzori mountains as we walked through the crater lakes where we came across some living organisms that our guide explained to us . The bat rides that we took were similarly rewarding as we witnessed other creatures like the hippos and pumbas, the story Richard told us about pumbas behaviors was interesting to listen that it made most of us giggle especially the children. The treks at Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi gave us an awesome feeling as we moved from place to place to see the chimps and gorillas respectively. However as we trekked , we saw some other rare animals like the giant forest hogs and this was because Richard was so keen and always focused on spotting different kinds of animals so that we could have a variety of them to see. As we came close to the end of our Safari, we passed by the famous Equator at Kayabwe and we were so eager to step on the monument because of the stories we had about it like the decrease in weight incase on stepped on it, apart from the monument, the place had very many beautiful things the shops around it had very nice art work that would easily catch someone’s attention in just one look. We went into the different shops and explored what was being sold their products would serve as good souvenirs because they were very colourful and elegant. There restaurants also had very good food that we enjoyed before heading to our destination. We really enjoyed our Safari and our children loved the gorillas most. Thank you Richard and Airways TT team for this wonderful tour, we will always remember this time in our lives and if we are to do this again, we will surely choose Airways Tours and Travel.
