Our two tank dive to Lanai was excellent! Our first dive was fun seeing an eel and going through a beautiful swim through. For our second dive we went to Cathedral One where we saw a white tipped reef shark and the cathedral had a beautiful ray of sunlight in the middle shining down onto a rock. The back wall of the cathedral looked like cutouts or a stained glass window/spiders web. Abby was our instructor and she was amazing! When she heard that I get cold often on dives she literally gave me the vest she was wearing. Joe our boat captain took great care of us driving and tending to our gear. The other groups instructor Sean also took great care of his group. The three worker together seamlessly, we felt very comfortable and confident in their capable hands. Thanks!!

Dive Maui never disappoints! Always a great experience from start to finish! It was the perfect day for diving, beautiful water, incredible visibility, and the best crew! Brian, Sean and Captain are very experienced and fun! Thank you to Brian for finding the octopus, perfect way to end the dive.

Dive Maui was incredible! The entire staff was fantastic. Matt and Abbi were both awesome, and Abbi was an outstanding guide through the Cathedrals. She was patient, fun, knowledgeable, and had such a positive attitude that made the experience even better. I can't wait to dive with them again!

They were attentive to every member of the group and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the dive. During the dive, I accidentally lost my camera, and they help recover it. Very professional, knowledgeable, well managed, dive charter. Such a cool spot to dive, great wildlife. Octopus, eels, great abundance & diverse reef fish. If you struggle with sea sickness on the open ocean, or are inexperienced with it, probably best to take some Dramamine or something similar before.

I booked this trip specifically because the Lanai Cathedrals page describes both First Cathedral and Second Cathedral in detail, which reasonably led me to expect dives at both sites. In reality, our group only visited one Cathedral site. The first dive was at a different Lanai location that was not one of the Cathedrals. After the trip, Dive Maui explained that they do not normally conduct dives at both Cathedral sites on the same day and that site selection depends on conditions and the divers onboard. I fully respect the importance of safety and found the crew professional and friendly throughout the trip. My disappointment is with the expectation created by the trip description. Had I known in advance that visiting both Cathedrals was not normally part of the itinerary, I would likely have chosen a different operator. Future divers whose main goal is to see both First Cathedral and Second Cathedral should clarify the expected itinerary before booking and compare the options offered by different Maui dive operators.
