Ms. Grace (travel consultant) was very helpful in arranging the best trip for me and my family in Xi'an. The tour guide, Mr. Joe and the driver too were both very friendly and helpful to us. As we are travelling with 2 young children, me and wife were very thankful that both of them were very patient (i.e. we can't walk too fast, we need to use baby stroller etc). Also, thanks for arranging vegetarian lunch for us, we truly appreciate it. It was a right decision in engaging with them for this tour as we have limited time in Xi'an. We had a great time learning about the history of the Terracota Warriors , Bell Tower, Drum Tower and Muslim Mosque . It was quite an experience! Thanks for the rich insights , Simon! Our two day tour of the highlights of Xi'an was truly amazing. Our guide Cloris was very knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. She was very friendly and answered our questions with patience and insight. Visiting the Terracotta warriors was a dream come true for my travel companion. I really enjoyed the Banpo Village which was even older and well preserved. The Tang Dynasty show was charming and the dumplings beforehand were delicious. Walking along the Old Walls of the city was unique and fascinating. The Muslim community area was full of life, colour and sound. Being able to see the Wild Goose Pagoda was enlightening too. The Xi'an Museum had an impressive collection of national treasures which were wonderful to see firsthand. All in all, we had a magical two days with our guide and wished we had more time to explore the wonders of this place. We would highly recommend our guide Cloris and her driver as they really made us feel welcome.

Having wanted to see the Warriors for ages I was looking forward to this trip. It didn't disappoint except for the throngs of people who had the same idea. The crowds were enormous(nothing compared to how busy it gets in season our guide said) and the noise and pushing and shoving was no fun. Apparently its busy all year but had I known how busy, I may have stayed at a hotel nearby and visited as soon as it opened early morning. If you're staying in Xian then it takes about an hour by private car to get to the Warriers so I suggest leave early and reach before the crowds for a better experience. The Huaging Pool palace is okay if you have the time but not a must do in my opinion. It is a preferred site for Chinese tourists and as such if you go be ready for the crowds. Our guide was Sunny and she was a very pleasant girl. Explained things well and put up with our constant photo requests! As it was an unusually hot day she also took the initiative to buy us ice creams which was a lovely gesture! On her recommendation we also booked an evening cultural show which we enjoyed. Thanks for all your help Sunny!!

Firstly we arrived early into Xian airportby 2 hours flight altered late previous evening. Having made contact with the office the tour was reaarragnged to take this into account. We were brought to our hotel to check in. Claris our guide brought on Xian city tour. She imparted enough information without overload. Gave us time on our own to explore and take photos. We did City walls Drum Tower Bell Tower. And we spent time on Muslim street which is a real must see. This is where your senses have a truely magnificent experience. Even with all that is going on the area is kept clean. The next morning we went to the Terracotta warriors, there is a shopping stop on the way which is ok. Again Claris explained everything at the warriors and gave us time to take it all in. What an experience. Lunch was provided and it was superb, as the only non oriental there we did attract some attention from young children. We then spent time visiting the large Wild Goose Pagoda and again Claris explained everything to us. Again given time to explore. This tour was perfect for us . Well prepared and executed.

Our holiday started the moment we landed in Xi'an. Even we arrived late in the nite, the driver was already there waiting for us and dropped us off for a good nite rest. The tour began with timely pickup from my hotel and we were met by my trusted guide Noble for the first day of my two-day adventure. I really enjoyed the first day of the tour which was the Terracotta Warriors tour. This is a must see! My guide Noble explained the history in detail and answered every question I had. After the tour, we had a delicious lunch recommended by Noble. Later we visited the Great Wall and in the evening we went for the Xian Tang Dynasty Show & Dumpling Dinner Tour. Day 2 of my tour were the impressive Pagoda and Xian museum which has an incredible collection of artifacts found in Xian. Then on to Xian city wall and the Muslim Quarter where my guide Noble chose some delicious foods for us to sample. We really enjoyed ourselves and Noble was a great guide.

My family and I really enjoy our stays at Xian and Luoyang though the schedule is abit tight. Wendy and Linda were two great tour guides, not forgetting the drivers.They were very helpful and patience answering all the questions that we asked. Now we understand the history of Xian and Luoyang much better than we know. We will definitely use your Chinatour again if we were to plan another trip in the near future.
