It was an amazing tour, both the village and city tour. sultan singh our tour guide made it so incredible that we felt like home and village tour was amazing with home cooked chicken and dal with tractor ride. my wife also enjoyed the hospitality.
Delicious menu: chicken curry, chapattis, vegetable pakoras and a delicious paneer and veg dish. The family made me so welcome and it was a delight to spend time in a Punjabi home and see how family meals are prepared and cooked. My chappati making skills have a long way to go! The only thing I'd have really liked is a copy of the recipes that we made, although, to be fair, there was no measuring and it was fascinating to see how ingredients were added by sight and no weight or volume.
Thanks for visiting us mam!
Somebody has suggested us to book a cooking class tour with Lazia and we did that my wife learnt many new dishes to make like saag roti and chicken food was delicious too we had fun learning with lazia
thanks
It was wonderful to be hosted in someone's home to learn about the food and culture. My host was amazing and I loved learning not just about the food but her family and life in Amritsar. A wonderful experience

Thank you sir!
I am so thankful we decided to do this tour! Sulten is an incredibly experienced and knowledgeable guide and also a really nice guy! - an Amritsari native he knows the city intimately and is generous in sharing his knowledge. Our tour of Jallianwalla bagh, the Golden Temple and street food in the old town was both relaxed - we never felt rushed- but also jam-packed. A highlight for us was touring the kitchens in the Golden Temple - truly astonishing. Our trip to the Wagah border was equally great made all the richer by our guide’s experience in navigating us to some excellent seats and his explanations of what was happening beforehand! Would 100% recommend this tour to everyone.
I really appreciate the kind words! It was also wonderful meeting both of you and I enjoyed your company as well. Looking forward to see you again here!
Visiting the Golden Temple was a truly enlightening experience. The majestic beauty of the temple's architecture and its serene surroundings left me in awe. The intricate designs and stunning craftsmanship of the golden structure were breathtaking. Walking around the shimmering sarovar (pool) was peaceful, and the atmosphere was filled with spirituality and devotion. Inside the temple, the atmosphere was incredibly serene, with the sound of prayers and the sight of devotees offering their respects creating a deeply moving experience. The langar, or communal kitchen, serving free meals to all visitors, showcased the spirit of equality and generosity that the Golden Temple embodies. Overall, my visit to the Golden Temple was a profoundly spiritual and memorable experience that I will cherish forever.
Thank you for leaving us a wonderful review!!
Great experience to visited the golden temple and waghaborder. We enjoyed the trip 😄. We took so many pictures for memories.
Great! We can do this again, please keep coming back!
One thing you must do in life, is visiting the Golden temple. Boy oh boy, what a place it is. They serve around 100 thousand people on an average day and it doubles or weekends and can go even higher on special days. Our tour organizer, Lazia Sandhu created our itinerary and assigned Sultan as our guide who was amazing at what he does. We only got to speak with Lazia over the phone, hopefully we'll see you in person next time. However, Sultan ensured that we were prepared for everything like crowds, weather, going barefoot in heat, dos and don'ts. He has a great grasp over history and now we are much more educated on Punjab, Sikhism, Hinduism, Indo-Pak relations, and British raj in India. Can't wait to revisit this magical city with my kids again.
Kindly do bring your family we will be more than happy to show your family our city!
