2 Tage Cheow Lan Lake Raft House ab Krabi

A brilliant trip that made complex logistics getting to the floating bungalows incredibly simple. My friend and I had a great time and saw an elephant on the shore behind the room! I was very impressed by the accommodation and the food and this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip - a nice mix of activities with kayaking and caves etc. too

Our guide Saki was so funny, the food was great, and we found the monkeys and elephants. Have fun!.:)

What beautiful days we had during this tour! First of all, the van in which we were transported was already extremely comfortable. On the way to Khao Sok from Krabi we stopped for a delicious typical Thai snack. We also did a small hike through another park, where we spotted snakes. Afterwards we went to a beautiful temple. Along the way our tourguide told us a lot about the area and Thai agricultural culture. Once we arrived in Khao Sok the longtail boat was already ready and we even saw an elephant on the way! Afterwards we were allowed to relax and we took a lovely refreshing dip. In the evening we did a safari from the water, where we spotted mega lots of monkeys and the beautiful followers. And that while enjoying a nice group and a great tour guide. The next morning we went back on the water at dawn and left after a delicious breakfast to the cave, where we did a hike! That's how cool this was! I recommend this to everyone! We have had incredibly nice days, seen a lot, received a lot of information and enjoyed a beautiful environment!

The pickup worked out on time. The program was ok, the local organizer rather mediocre. Other groups had more motorized guides and also better food. Overall a very poor price/performance ratio, so the experience was significantly overpriced !!!

Great 1 night stay in the national park. Saw and heard lots of monkeys, spotted by our amazing guide Eag - very knowledgeable and helpful throughout. Meals were great, with a bonus stop at a temple on the way to the national park. Basic accommodation as expected but very clean and shared bathroom not a problem at all

Communication worked well in the beginning. I thought it was super organized. They asked about our eating habits and sent us a schedule with the process and first we wanted to be dropped off at a different hotel than where we started, this would not have been a problem either. But the schedule and excursions we made did not match what we were told, none of the participants in the group did. We booked an external transfer from the pier to Khao Lak so we don't have to make the detour to Krabi. Although we asked again what time we will be at the pier, unfortunately we drove back 2h earlier and so had to wait 2h for our driver.. lost time. The guide was very nice but even there the communication was very difficult. We also got our registered vegetarian food only after several memories.. The conditions in the national park and the weather for it nobody can do anything, the experience was still very nice. Maybe it's worth a little more in private or on your own. I'd like to pay more next time. At our accommodation which was offered there, even from 10 p.m. in the rear washroom area no more water went. In the front, the toilet was clogged. In addition, the wastewater runs into the lake (at least the showers that are in the toilet) I wouldn't do it with overnight anymore, as the people who run these plants definitely don't take a backstab at the environment! The National Park itself has been a very nice experience!

Issues: 1. Itinerary was not provided. We did not bring temple attire as we had no idea we were going to temples on the way to the park. 2. We had to sit at a hot rest area for 30 mins waiting for another group to meet us. 3. At the lodging there were no small or medium life vests. The large were way to big. 4. No where prior to arrival did it say you were required to wear a life vest to swim (which was impossible in a large life vest). And that you cannot jump into the water from the rooms. This was shown as a fun activity in TikTok videos but you will be fined if you do it. 5. The owners of the lodging were hypocrites. Signs say no dogs. They bring their dog. Lodging is uncomfortable (hot, stuffy, power only on at night, thin mattress). Yet their owners suite has an air conditioner and deluxe bed/amenities). They also ignore us at the restaurant while catering to some VIP female volleyball team. This tour was the most expensive and least enjoyed of our two weeks in Thailand. Would not go back.

The place is absolutely beautiful and the guide and our drivers (bus and boat) were top. A must have in Thailand!

The park itself is absolutely breathtaking, with its towering limestone rock formations rising out of the tranquil lake, surrounded by lush jungle. It’s a must-see experience that truly captures the natural beauty of Thailand. We took a 1-night tour with Sutin Group through Trip House Krabi, and Praeedet was our fantastic tour guide. The trip started early in the morning, with a few scenic stops along the way to break up the drive. We had the chance to go on a nature hike, visit a beautiful temple, and enjoy a delicious lunch by a suspension bridge in the jungle, all of which were included in the tour. The journey continued to a pier where we boarded a longboat to the Phutawan raft house. There are two types of bungalows—capsule-shaped ones that fit four people and small floating houses for two. The accommodations are basic, but the experience of staying in a floating bungalow in the middle of a lake is unforgettable. Electricity is available at night, and each bungalow has a fan. The only downside (if I had to be completely honest) was that the beds weren’t the most comfortable. However, considering we were in the heart of nature, I didn’t expect extreme luxury, and honestly, the experience made up for it. Also, we didn’t find it too hot thanks to the fan, but bear in mind we were there during a milder month. Upon arrival at the floating bungalow in the afternoon, we had some free time to swim or kayak before heading out for a night safari, which was a unique and exciting adventure. Dinner (included) was served afterward, and it was delicious authentic Thai food. The next morning, we enjoyed another morning safari, followed by breakfast (included) at the raft house. Afterward, we explored a cave, which was a fun addition to the itinerary. We then had some more free time before lunch (also included), which was another fantastic Thai meal. Throughout the entire trip, the food was consistently amazing, and the raft house even has a bar for a relaxed drink by the lake. Praeedet was an excellent guide, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that we were all comfortable. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had a memorable experience. If you’re in Krabi, this tour is an absolute must-do. Khao Sok National Park offers a unique and stunning experience, and the tour with Sutin Group will leave you with memories you’ll cherish forever.
