Sie beginnen Ihre Reise mit der Fahrt von Kampala zum Lake Mburo Nationalpark, die etwa 4 - 5 Stunden dauert. Unterwegs halten Sie am Uganda-Äquator, einer speziellen Linie, die die Erde in die nördliche und südliche Hälfte teilt. Hier können Sie mit einem Fuß in jeder Hälfte stehen, Fotos machen und beobachten, wie sich Wasser auf jeder Seite der Leitung anders dreht. Sie können auch kleine Geschäfte besuchen, um lokales Kunsthandwerk zu kaufen. Nach diesem Stopp fahren Sie weiter zu Ihrer Lodge. Später unternehmen Sie eine abendliche Pirschfahrt, um Tiere wie Zebras, Impalas, Büffel, Warzenschweine und vielleicht sogar Leoparden oder Hyänen zu sehen. Am zweiten Tag, nach dem Frühstück, wählen Sie entweder ein Fahrrad auf speziellen Wegen im Park oder machen Sie eine geführte Wanderung mit einem Ranger. Auf beiden Wegen können Sie Tieren wie Giraffen, Zebras und Antilopen nahe kommen und gleichzeitig etwas über die Pflanzen und Tiere um Sie herum erfahren. Nach der morgendlichen Aktivität kehren Sie zum Mittagessen in die Lodge zurück und beginnen dann die Fahrt zurück nach Entebbe oder Kampala

Friendly guide, unforgettable abundance of beautiful animals, accommodation in a tent with climatic restaurant. Nice food and sharing the culture. I was taken care of on every step. My advice if you are visiting on low season you will feel luxurious! :)

It was a great time during the two days at Lake Mburo NP. On our way to the park we stopped at the equator to get the effects of changing from one hemisphere to the other one shown. Even before entering the park we could see the first zebras. Then in the park the walking safari was great because the ranger made it possible that you can walk just next to giraffes. The night game drive was fun although you are not seeing as many animals as during the night because there is only the rangers spotlight. We were happy because we got the chance to see a whole herd of hyenas. The cycling safari the next morning was wonderful. You are just riding in the middle of antelopes, zebras, warthogs or giraffes. Also the stay at Rwakobo Rock was beautiful with its cottages and of course the nice view from the hill.
