Best tour company ever!! Booked Alpaca Expedition but omg they didn’t book our Machu Picchu tickets just because I missed a message left in Viator to check if I would like to upgrade. I have paid full and given my full details - no follow up despite having my phone number and email. Eventual follow up was not clear on their side. Imagine my horror since Machu Picchu tickets were sold out months in advance. THANK GOD FOR FLY CUSCO PERU, they tried to get tickets for us in advance though there’s no guarantee and we might have to eventually plan to go town to queue for tickets. But!!! They remain open communication with us despite us being a little noisy and anxious haha they didn’t shut us down (unlike the previous experience). Tour provided by FLY CUSCO was perfect. Tour guide was knowledgeable and English articulation was clear. You can really feel their enthusiasm when sharing their history and culture. They were very helpful when they see that we need help. Loving every moment with them. THANK YOU FLY CUSCO, you’ve made my trip perfect. 💯!
Thank you very much for your excellent review! We are delighted to have helped make your visit to Machu Picchu a reality and to know that you enjoyed the tour and the service provided by our team. Your kind words are the greatest reward for our work. Thank you for trusting Fly Cusco Peru. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Peru! Sincerely, Jhordy Fly Cusco Peru Travel Agency
Amazing tour and so well organized by Rayza and her team. In just two days from Lima and back, we saw so many wonderful sights! Seamless transport by air and road with meals and hotel in Agua Calientes Machu Picchu. Highly recommended for all who want to see it all on a weekend!
This is my first time using this company for my travels to Cusco. I have been there 11 times in the last 20+ yrs taking various groups of friends. I was really impressed with Jhordy’s customer service and responsiveness which is the reason I decided to try this company. The logistics, transport and hotel were fine. The buffet lunch in Sacred Valley was really good - great for those who want to sample Peruvian food. However, the guides left a lot to be desired. I have had a lot of guides give me these tours and the guides he provided us were very basic. We had asked for a bilingual tour, Spanish and English. Our Sacred Valley guide was extremely long winded and repeated the same thing multiple times in one language which made it hard for me to translate or for him to be able to repeat it in Spanish. The MP tour guide was the worst. He had very basic knowledge of the site and was a big disappointment in both the English and Spanish side. I talked to Jhordy afterwards and advised that he contract better guides. I was able to fill in some key facts because I have been doing this for so long. Really disappointed to pay for a service that was subpar. There are established and more seasoned companies that will provide the same level of logistical service AND guides.
First of all, to say the tour was amazing is a tremendous understatement! I truly recommend this tour especially if coordinated by Fly Cusco PERU travel Agency. We planned our trip and booked our tickets and hotel a month in advance. What we hadn't realized, is that the tickets to Machu Picchu ran out a few months in advance. At the time of booking the Machu Picchu tour, we were starting to get anxious, as we were not finding any tickets for the traditional tour that you see online and in Social Media. This is where Jhordy, the owner of the agency came into play. He carefully explained a way to be able to get tickets in person the day prior to visiting, and made sure that all arrangement were properly made: They picked us up at the airport and took us to the main town square in Cusco, where Jhordy met with us to explain the process again, give us our train tickets, and allow us some time to get a quick breakfast before taking us to the train station. The driver Jorge, was amazing! Very good driver with great attitude and very friendly. He also made a quick stop on our way to the train station in a little town called Chinchero, where they local women made garments made from Alpaca fur. The train was a VistaDome 360 that took us to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu), then he had a guide waiting for us at the station to take us directly to the line to get the tickets (Jhordy also coordinated with our hotel in Aguas Calientes to pick up our luggage and take it directly to the hotel while we went to get our tickets) [On a side note: The hotel we booked was the Sumaq, while a bit more pricey than other options, we we treated like royalty and would totally recommend staying there, if within your budget.] We got our tickets and had the rest of the afternoon to rest. The following morning our tour guide was waiting at the agreed upon time in our hotel lobby to take us to Machu Picchu. We had requested to go at 7am, but changed our plans to 9am based on her experience and recommendation. It was totally worth it, because the day started off a bit cloudy but cleared up by the time we were up there. Our Guide, Ivoni (Spanish Speaking), was very well versed in the history of the Ruins and was also an incredible photographer. She told us many detailed stories about the different areas and way of life of the Incas, while making sure to capture pictures of us in the best spots! I definitely recommend taking sunscreen, mosquito repellent and a hat. In the afternoon, the train took us back to the Ollantaytambo Station, where Jorge was waiting for us to take us to our hotel in Urubamba[Tambo del Inca: Amazing Hotel on a gorgeous property. It has an amazing restaurant, amazing tempered indoor/outdoor pool, and even it's own garden where they grow a lot of the produce that is part of their menu.] The following day Jorge and another Guide, Justino (Spanish & English), met us at our hotel in the morning to take us to several different spots in the Sacred Valley: we visited the archeological site of Ollantaytambo, Pisaq, Moray and Maras Salt Flats. Justino was also very knowledgeable of the region, funny and overall a very nice person. He made our visit to the different sites a memorable experience. The restaurant we stopped at during lunch was great, with live traditional music and dance show while we ate in a buffet style setting. After lunch they drove back to our hotel after such a unique experience!
