2-tägige gemeinsame Wanderung auf dem Inka-Trail nach Machu Picchu

We are just back home from a holiday in Peru, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip was the one day short Inca Trail trek with AB Expeditions. From the outset our experience with AB Expeditions was brilliant. Tania in the office who made our reservations was so patient and easy to deal with. However, the highlight of our hike was Alberto, our guide who was so professional, knowledgeable and caring. He met us in Ollantaytambo right on time and ensured that we were comfortable on the train. At the start of the ascent to Winay Wayna, he let us go at our own pace assessing how we were doing. He then encouraged us without rushing us all along the way. After two hours of climbing we had a lovely fresh cooked meal by the chef. Alberto guided us around Winay Wayna. After lunch we continued with a lovely hike to the Inti Punku, Alberto let us take our time and enjoy the vista. After arrival at the citadel, he guided us around circuit three, imparting his considerable knowledge to us. We were very lucky to have Alberto on our trek, he is an absolute gentleman with admirable patience and great knowledge. Without a doubt he made our trek and day at Machu Picchu really special. I wish that everyone trekking to Machu Picchu could have Alberto as their guide and AB Expeditions as their tour company. Thank you AB Expeditions and thank you Alberto!

Excellent experience. From the beginning to the end of the tour everything was perfect. The lunch they prepared for us halfway was delicious. The guide, Yiyo, was very warm with us. Incredible experience with our guide Yiyo, he accompanied us with great dedication, providing us with his vast knowledge. We went on the tour with Alberto. He was a great guide paying attention to everyone in the group and adapting the program to our wants and needs. His explanations on the history of the incas, the trail and the ecosystem were interesting and clear. Highly recommend this tour!

The Short Inka Trail with AB Expeditions went really well. Our guide was Beker and he insured all went smoothly. I also booked our airport transfers, Cusco City Tour and the Afternoon Rainbow Mountain throughout the week. Both of the hikes were expected challenges for me and the guides had patience and focused on my ability to complete them and were encouraging. I enjoyed the other family’s company on the trek and and all made for a memorable trip. The office staff that I emailed constantly Liz and Tania made sure all ran smoothly in this rather complex planning of the Peru trip. I am grateful for the experience and want to thank AB Expeditions for their professional service throughout.

Maik was an absolutely incredible guide throughout the 2 days. He was extremely knowledgeable, took the time to answer any questions we had and even had dinner and lunch with us during the 2 days. The meal provided during the hike was a fantastic local meal as well. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anyone who asks.

Fantastic experience with unbeatable service. Very attentive to our needs at all times. Our daughter is celiac and they adapted the food and the establishments at our request without any complaints, quite the opposite, they showed concern and interest in improving their service. Special mention to Amílcar and Mike for their professionalism and friendly manner, always patient and with a smile, sharing their knowledge so we could fully enjoy the experience. We take with us a wonderful memory of the Andean culture and its epic landscapes, a true privilege. PS: The cook is a star!
