If you fancy a guided tour that doesn't blow you away with facts, figures and architectural styles, Beardbarian Entertainment is the place to be. A walk full of romantic, exciting, surprising stories at special places in Bruges. We came with a bilingual group of 16-17 year olds, and learned a lot more. Yves also speaks loud and clear, and that was certainly an added value for the French-speaking half of our group who got a Dutch language bath here.

We did the walking tour of Ghent and Burges with Antoon de Groote, he did an amazing job. Knew all kinds of historical facts and stories. Great off the beaten path locations and interesting facts…. Had a great dog too…

Yves was the ultimate tour guide. We started at Duke's palace, walked the streets and canals ending in the city center. We had already been in Bruges for 2 days and we would've missed the best parts if it weren't for Yves. He showed us all the highlights and told us the stories of Mary of Burgundy, the Buyck family, the church of our lady and the stollen Madonna and Child statue. Yves was such a great storyteller that you felt as if you were back in history! The time flew by and we had the next day to go back into some of the famous places. My husband and I highly recommend this tour and Yves, you will not be disappointed.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Bruges. Yves met us at the train station to help us navigate our way into town. The tour was very informative but not in a boring way. It was great to be able to ask questions and delve deeper into the history of Bruges. I highly recommend this tour!

Yves was great from booking to end. He is an excellent communicator and helped with lunch recommendations prior to the tour. We were running late due to the train and ended up in the wrong place but he was very accommodating and we didn't feel rushed. We travelled with 2 young children and were not sure how we were going to go however Yves adapted the talk to ensure they felt included, plus answered all 500 questions our inquisitive 8 year old asked about random topics. Would definitely recommend this tour for everyone, it's been the highlight of our Europe trip so far
