My family and I had the most wonderful experience in Marrakesh with our guide Younass. He was kind and prompt and took wonderful care of us all week. Having someone there every step of the way felt like a luxury. He'd pick us up at our doorstep, spend the entire day showing us around and teaching us about local customs, and drop us home again at the end of the day. He even picked up my daughter and her fiance at 4:30 am to get her to the airport for her early flight home, which took away all my worries, knowing he was watching out for her. Younass took us to the desert at sunset to ride quad bikes and then to have dinner under a tent with music and entertainment. We also did a full-day trip to the beach town of Essaouira, two and a half hours from Marrakesh. There were six of us, and he had a large, comfortable, clean, air-conditioned minivan for us to travel in. It was always spotless and filled with water for the day. By the end of the week, I felt like Younass was family, and my adult children joked that they were going home with a new brother. Getting to know Younass and the people of Morroco brought a deeper understanding of the country and its beautiful, loving people. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and friend than Younass.
