2 - Nordirland-Tagestour von Dublin mit Belfast und Giants Causeway

Beschreibung

One-week tour in Ireland. Overall, it was very good... Except that Fram never provided us with instructions (which were supposed to be included in the program) to return to our first hotel in Dublin on the day of our arrival. The Aircoach bus dropped us off, and we managed on our own!
Love the tour, the bus is a little late but the bus driver, Bryan, is really funny, charming and fun to be around. Shout out to him and his amazing tour. Would recommend if anyone like to go to giant causeway tour
Our guide Steve was the perfect combination of professionalism, competence, and fun! He made it clear his job was to give us an excellent experience on our tour which meant keeping us comfortable, informed, and interested with personal anecdotes. We trusted his driving and his ability to adapt to changing circumstances common to tours. Steve is a charming, fun tour guide. A++
These 2 days trip allow you to have one day just for Belfast and so to have enough time to visit the city, without being a rush. In the second day you can see great spots of Northern Ireland. I definitely recommend it. All the guides were great!
Our tour guides and drivers were great. The Titanic Museum, Black Cab Tour, Dunluce Castle, and Giants Causeway were all quite engaging, sharing different parts of Northern Ireland's history and beautiful landscape. Spreading out the journey over two days gave us the opportunity to explore Belfast, which I thought was a lively city. Would recommend visiting Kelly's Cellars in Belfast! It was fun also to walk into Queen's University and walk around the downtown. Dunluce Castle was unexpectedly amazing and Giants Causeway was breathtaking. Overall, the experience was good, but we had some issues. The pickup location was confusing, and this was an issue affecting many Paddywagon customers on different trips. The pinned spot was by a train line and offset from the actual pickup location. We were also given the wrong pickup time - by an hour! This may have been an issue with booking through TripAdvisor, since there was a time zone change right after we booked our tickets. Fortunately the PaddyWagon office and our tour guide/bus driver worked with us to arrange a new, last minute pickup stop. Allowed us to make the trip, but was stressful. Feel bad for the other passengers who had to wait for us as we sorted the issue. The two day trip came with accommodation but we did not receive any advance information about the booking. Again, maybe an issue with booking through TripAdvisor. We were told our hostel spot midway through the trip. Sadly, we got lost in Belfast and with our phone dying and no service, we couldn't initially find the hostel. After charging our phones in a nearby bookstore, we found the hostel, which was tucked away. Without any booking information, we relied on the good faith of our hostel host to let us stay. Once all that was sorted, we had a lovely night in Belfast! The city itself was quite cheerful, which was a delightful juxtaposition to what we learned earlier regarding the Troubles. We called Paddywagon to confirm the pickup location and time for the second day. Unfortunately the bus was snarled in traffic, arrived late, and in a separate location. The bus driver had to find the entire group and guide us to the bus. Our bus driver was incredibly amiable though and provided us with great Irish humor and stories of history and folklore. The preplanned lunch spot felt a bit forced upon, but maybe there aren't good options on the limited time. I would have liked to spend more time in Giants Causeway. The Dark Hedges were neat, but not as spectacular as Giants Causeway and the adjacent cliff hiking. We paid one last stop in Belfast, which I enjoyed as a final goodbye before we made our way back to Dublin. Overall, the trip was enjoyable but would benefitted from more information or better organization from the tour company, some of which may be on the fault of TripAdvisor for relaying little to no information.
Absolutely a great day out. The office staff in oconnell street office dublin were efficient and helpful. The day was planned out perfect with frequent stops on the way.the icing on top of the cake though was our driver . He amazed us with all his knowledge and story telling. He was very friendly and was an experienced driver. So Gerry thank you so much from us here in malta for making our days with paddywagon tours so much fun.so guys if you want to get the best coach tours of Ireland from Dublin choose Paddywagon tours. Aaron Connelly was a fantastic tour guide and driver. Very accommodating and thoroughly knowledgeable about our sights and other venues. The Giants Causeway is not to be missed in my opinion. Spent ten days with a rival company for the other parts of Ireland, but if I were to return, I would consider Paddy Wagon first and ask for Aaron.
Thank you Michael and Andrei! Had a wonderful day with you both! Appreciate the conversation! Great tour, great sharing of local information, and thanks for letting me off the bus unexpectedly. All is well! Will keep this tour company in mind for our next adventures!
We had such an awesome time on this trip! Danny took great care of us and helped us get the most of our experience by providing excellent suggestions and candid feedback. This is the way to go for a hassle free tour experience.
I was hesitant to book this tour because I don’t like large tours that typically are impersonal and don’t allow for enough time to be spent in each site. But Ian quickly put that thought at ease. Firstly, what an incredible opportunity to be shown around by Ian who was previously a journalist, and is extremely knowledgeable about Ireland. First impressions are important and he was funny, witty and sarcastic (love that). He also was able to mix Irish folklore into the mix which was appreciated. He was also kind enough to drive us by the Armenian Genocide memorial on the Christ Church Cathedral. (Thanks for that, Ian). He gave a really nice summary about the troubles in Belfast and encouraged tourists to take the Black Cab tour (which was a highlight). It’s one thing to read about what has happened/is happening in Northern Ireland, but it’s something else to see the “peace walls” first hand, shown to use by those who lived through it. The Titanic museum was so well made. It walks you through not only the ship’s making and sinking, but also helps you understand why it was such an important aspect to Belfast. Very humbling. Belfast is a must see and a trip to Ireland would be amiss if Belfast isn’t part of that trip. We felt safe throughout the tour and walked around the city at night with no problem (I know some travelers didn’t because they were afraid to), and had the time to see a friend as well! Super nice, real people. The next day was also a highlight, especially seeing the Giant Causeway. What an incredible site and it was really fun to climb on those stones. Dave did a great job explaining the folklore story behind this place. Thankfully there is a bus that can take people down and back up. Some of our group members would have a difficult time going back up if they didn’t have that option. The drive through the coastline was epic. So beautiful. It reminded me of California’s central coast. I appreciated that we had to share tables at lunch, allowing us to get to know some of our fellow tourists. Thank you both for driving us safely and for the shared knowledge and stories.
