Rented a boat for 4hrs apon arrival it seemed nice got the boat all paid for and damage fund paid went out to the boats and they where as ragged out as a 2000 model Honda civic rips and tears everywhere broken lights gauges didn’t work dents everywhere the radio was broken staff was decent until the owner or manager came out yelling at renters and staff that the boats weren’t going in reverse far enough and proceeded to shout at everyone causeing one guy to panick and almost smack another renter boats Olga e no power steering or sea arks for stabilizing throttles when going into gear are like tryna pull King Arthur’s sword form the rock poorly maintained equipment the dock hands where cool but did the bare minimum and still expected a tip if ur short notice this is an okay establishment to rent from highly recommended looking at the places around this one way nicer boats for the same pricing
While our time at Crab Island was great, the actual boat rental experience could be vastly improved. We arrived at 9:45 AM for our rental, but the provided address only took us to the main marina—the actual rental location was in a completely separate area. Once we found it, we waited 15 minutes in line, only to find out we had to fill out waivers on-site. Sending these ahead of time would be a massive timesaver. Even after checking in, our boat wasn’t ready, and they had to retrieve a different vessel from another location. To top it off, the deckhand was rude and snippy when we asked to have our time extended due to their delay. While the boat itself was in decent shape, the rental process and customer service completely fell apart.
Take motion sickness pills beforehand lol other than that it was an experience! Highly recommend for all ages.
We had a great time taking our kids to Crab Island. Power up Sports was conveniently located near our resort. They were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely rent from them again in the future.

It was fun! We had fun. Make sure to bring enough drinks, towels etc! It was about a thirty minute trip to crab island.
They very professional and helped us with every question we had. They offered extra life savers & helped with setting up
We picked the perfect day to go out on the water.. went at high tide. The pontoon boat was clean and the person who set us up was very informative on everything. Only issue was, the radio didn’t work. It would have been nice to have some music while we were on the water. I would recommend this company though for sure, especially for the price. We went to crab island first and then rode and saw lots of dolphins.. then went to a sandbar and found some pretty shells and headed back. Hoping to come back again next summer or sooner.
