We enjoyed a more than pleasant day with Karlos our very nice guide answering all our questions accurately in awesome French. Unfortunately the weather conditions did not allow us to visit all the villages planned for the activity.
Such a great day trip! Very easy to coordinate and so convenient. Loved the opportunity to see the villages, super cute!
This tour was disappointing. First of all, it is unfair they divide people some with two languages guide groups and some English only guide. The two language group has obvious disadvantage on delay on everything. Our guide spoke English and Italian. She was not fluent in English sometimes forgetting words. We have to guess what she was trying to say. There were not any description of the town history or significance of any structures we passed by. I don’t think they should call it guided tour at all. Times arrangement in each town was not good. We basically just had lunch in Grazalema, then had to go on to the next town. The description on Viator says clearly this is a 11 hour tour and we have 3 hours in Ronda. We only got 2 hour in Ronda and the guide said this was a 10 hour tour according to their own company website. Then, they need to change their advertisement on Viator! The reason I booked this tour was because they stated they had longer time in each town. Do not recommend!
This was an absolutely amazing tour. We started out by visiting one of the white villages followed by a tour of an olive oil factory. It took approximately an hour to get to the first one. Next we went to another white village about 45 minutes away to get lunch. The roads are very windy but the views are absolutely amazing! It does rain a lot there but we were pretty lucky with the weather. Next we went to the city of Ronda about 2 hours away. I wouldn’t spend time going down the bridge but there are so many gorgeous look out points where you can get amazing pictures!!
We experienced Andalusia with the BEST Host = JESUS (your own personal Jesus!). His local knowledge and enthusiasm made our day Fun! History, architecture and a working olive press! Book this trip - you'll be glad you did.
María , our guide , was lovely . Very knowledgeable & informative . If I could tweak the itinerary , I would leave out Zahara and the oil factory and spend more time in Grazelema & Ronda. We had just enough time to eat in Grazalema but was a much nicer town than Zahara & no time to see any of it . Lovely scenery en route. For those with mobility issues , Zahara has hills! . I have bad knees and walking down a steep hill into the centre was very painful. Not enough time to see much of Ronda either (not helped by spending half of it with the police after encountering a pickpocket ) if you walk further down past the bridge to the other Roman ruins , you also encounter very steep, cobbled hills . Despite the negative encounter , it was a nice enough day .
Lovely day! Wonderful visits to Zahara and Grazalema, charming villages with oodles of photo ops; then on to Ronda, with its spectacular chasm, and great, sweeping views of the valley and mountains from the park. Bus was comfortable, and we had good conversations with other passengers. Lara was informative and delightful, and our driver, Rafa, professional and skillfully navigated country roads in the mountains. Great full day trip!
This was an absolutely gorgeous day. Each of the villages was beautiful in its own way and I appreciated having free time to wander through each of them. It was easy to find the best photo spots and the guides were helpful with directions. The olive oil factory was a short stop. Breakfast and lunch were free time / not included in cost, so you can pack your lunch with you to maximize your sightseeing time or enjoy the cute cafes and tapas in the town squares if you don't want to walk as much. A very relaxing and memorable day
I had a really nice experience with this tour. They delivered what they offered and it was money well invested since my time was limited and in a day I was able to visit different places, learning about the culture, the food, the history.... Our tours guides -Maria and Jose Carlos- did a nice job working with a group in which there were just Spanish speaking and just English speaking guests. I also would like to mention Joaquin, the driver. His driving style was safe and pleasant, which I really value particularly when driving through 'tight' mountain roads. If in Seville again, I will book other tours with them.
Great tour guides with excellent local knowledge. Wonderful stops at the olive oil factory, Zaahara de La Sierra, Ronda and Grazalema. Only wish we liked have had a little more time in each location.
