Reiseverlauf
Wir holen alle Teilnehmer von jedem beliebigen Ort in der Stadt Malang ab. Die Fahrt zum Wasserfall Tumpak Sewu dauert je nach Verkehr etwa 2–2,5 Stunden. Wir passieren das farbenfrohe Dorf Jodipan (ohne Halt). Der Fahrer/Reiseleiter erzählt Ihnen eine inspirierende Geschichte über das farbenfrohe Dorf Jodipan.
Unterwegs genießen wir eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Berg Semeru. Wenn Sie ein paar Fotos machen möchten, können wir für etwa 5–10 Minuten anhalten.
Nach der Ankunft in Tumpak Sewu wird das Auto auf dem Parkplatz geparkt. Wir machen eine Pause von 5-10 Minuten und gehen dann ca. 10 Minuten zum Panoramablick. Nachdem wir einige Bilder in der Panorama-Ansicht aufgenommen haben, werden wir etwa 50 Minuten bergab wandern, um den Fuß des Tumpak Sewu Wasserfalls zu erreichen. ROUTE: 07:00 - 07:30 Uhr Abholung aller Teilnehmer von einem beliebigen Ort in der Stadt Malang. 07:30 - 10:00 Fahren Sie nach Tumpak Sewu, passieren Sie das farbenfrohe Dorf Jodipan (ohne Zwischenstopp) und genießen Sie den Blick auf den Mount Semeru, den höchsten Punkt der Insel Java (5-10 Minuten Pause). 10:00 - 12:00 Wanderung zum Grund des Tumpak Sewu Wasserfalls (bergab). 12:00 - 14:00 Uhr Wanderung zur Goa Tetes Höhle und vorbei am Tetes Wasserfall (kann für 10-15 Minuten anhalten). 14:00 - 15:00 Rückwanderung zum Parkplatz (bergauf). 15:00 - 17:30 Zurück nach Malang.
Bei unserer Wanderung zu Goa Tetes (Tetes-Höhle) kommen wir am Tetes-Wasserfall und dem Infinity-Pool von Lost LeBlanc vorbei, anschließend geht es bergauf und zurück in die Stadt Malang.

The local guide Arif was very helpful and humble. He was very patient and guided us well; a 5 star for him. However the planning by the tour operator was lousy, the itinerary was totally different from planned...though the itinerary mentioned several attractions with start 7:30AM to 5:30PM, it started 7:30AM and ended 10:30AM telling us, its done after tumpak sevu and goa tetes. I had to spend extra again for the remaining other attractions.

Pick up time was arranged the day before. The driver Sholeh did not speak English but with Google traduction we could communicate still 🙂 when I arrived an english speaking guide joined me to show the waterfall Tumpak Sewu and the Goa Tetes Cave. I had a wonderful time despite the crowd and he kindly took some very nice pictures of as well 📷

It really was an ultimate adventure! while climbing down you can only see walls of green until you turn the last corner and WOW the horsehoe waterfall is so impressive! Our guide was considerate and encouraging and let us play in the waterfall. The caves were as amazing as the waterfall. It was a real bonus when our guide presented us with a video of our entire trek. (We looked like we were having fun- and we were!) The only drawback was our communication prior to the trip was a bit frustrating regarding our pick up time and an added cost for our location announced at the last minute. Bonus for us, our driver was very skillful in navigating road construction and traffic and we were all able to doze a bit on the way home.

Our guide was Sandi who was accompanied by our driver Mr Sholeh who were a fantastic team for our trip to the waterfalls of Tumpak Sewu. The waterfalls were wonderful and you could get some amazing shots - and Sandi was a great photographer as well as knowledgeable guide. The main waterfall does have a lot of tourists - some of whom seem intent on taking a million photos in the same spot - which is where Sandi came in handy to then navigate us safely to the others lesser known and therefore quieter waterfalls - and then onto the caves. Which were stunning in their natural design. Once we had seen all the falls and caves - we stopped for lunch before heading back to Malang. This is where Mr Sholeh came to the fore in providing safe passage in his air conditioned car and got us back to our hotel safely. All told a great way to spend a day out in Malang.

To be really honest and genuine, coming from Singaporeans, it was such an amazing experience for me and my friends. Moreover, everything went very smoothly with the help of our patient and kind driver Sholeh as well as our activity guide, Sulis, who did not only ensured our safety at all times but also ensured that we had a blast throughout the various places and activities. The waterfall and caves on site were super interesting and it was a lot of fun to look at them and take pictures under the waterfall , but unfortunately neither the driver nor the guide on site had spoken English, which made communication very difficult to hardly possible. Both were super nice and the guide knew great about the waterfall and caves , but due to the lack of English it was also not possible to get more background information about the sights.
