Viele Tempel sind im Dschungel verloren und Sie werden auch die Nebenstraße von Angkor sehen.

Startpunkt: Abfahrt vom Hotel Wir werden um 7:30 Uhr von Ihrem Hotel abfahren. Diese Radtour ist gemütlich und wir werden gemeinsam Spaß haben. Sie werden das wirkliche Leben der Menschen sehen, die in dieser ländlichen Gegend leben, außerdem können Sie den Dschungel, Tiere und Vögel sehen.
PRASAT ANGKOR WAT ist der größte und berühmteste Khmer-Tempel, der im 12. Jahrhundert zwischen 1113 und 1150 während der Herrschaft von Suryavarman II erbaut wurde. Der 65 Meter hohe Tempel ist von einem großen Graben [Ko Tek] umgeben. Die Außen- und Innenwände sind mit erstaunlichen Sockelreliefs bedeckt.
PRASAT BAYON oder ANGKOR THOM ist ein Tempel im buddhistischen Stil, der Ende des 12./Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts von Jayavarnam VII. erbaut wurde. Bayon hat 54 Türme, die die 54 Provinzen vor und während des Khmer-Reiches darstellen. Auf den 54 Türmen sind über 200 lächelnde Gesichter eingraviert. Bayon war eine blühende Hauptstadt, wurde aber leider 1811 von Cham-Invasoren beschädigt.
Chau Say Tevoda ist ein Tempel in Angkor, Kambodscha. Es liegt östlich von Angkor Thom, direkt südlich von Thommanon auf der anderen Seite des Siegeswegs. Er wurde Mitte des 12. Jahrhunderts erbaut und ist ein hinduistischer Tempel aus der Angkor-Wat-Zeit. Es ist Shiva und Vishnu gewidmet, mit einzigartigen Arten von weiblichen Skulpturen von Devatas, die darin verankert sind.
PRASAT TA PROMH, erbaut im späten 12. Jahrhundert von Jayavarman VII, wurde 1186 seiner Mutter gewidmet. Ursprünglich hatte dieser Tempel einen buddhistischen Hintergrund, wurde aber später hinduistisch umgewandelt, sodass einige buddhistische Galerien zerstört und durch hinduistische Symbole wie Yoni und Lingam ersetzt wurden. Seine Lage ist 1,5 km von Bayon durch das Siegestor entfernt. Ta Promh ist berühmt für die Bäume (genannt „Spung“), die stark auf und über den Sandsteinblockwänden wachsen.
Ta Nei ist ein Steintempel aus dem späten 12. Jahrhundert in Angkor, Kambodscha. Es wurde während der Herrschaft von König Jayavarman VII. erbaut und liegt in der Nähe der nordwestlichen Ecke des East Baray, einem großen heiligen Stausee. Es war Buddha gewidmet.
East (Death) Gate ist eines der fünf Tore, die die antike Stadt Angkor Thom bewachen. Sie wurde von König Jayavarman VII. im späten 12. Jahrhundert als Teil des Wiederaufbaus der Stadt nach dem Sieg über die Cham-feindliche Armee 1181 n. Chr. erbaut. Obwohl sich die Gelehrten über die Symbolik der prachtvollen fünf Tore, die die Stadt bewachen, nicht einig sind, ist die am weitesten verbreitete Theorie, dass die Götter und Dämonen, die den Körper der Naga halten, den Mythos der Schöpfung repräsentieren, wie im "Churning of the Ocean Milk", dem berühmten Relief von Angkor Wat, gezeigt.

I highly recommend this experience!! Riding bikes around Angkor Wat with Mr. K was really informative and lots of fun. The trails were easy and made for a much more immersive experience than if we were riding in a van. Mr. K tailored the trip to our needs and we spent the time we wanted at each temple. He took us to a nice spot for lunch and we ended the day with a wonderful cold beverage. This cycle tour was a highlight of our trip!!

My partner and I were really glad to have stretched our legs a bit on a biking tour - - it helped to break up the day of walking through temples and get us to some of the spots we might not have made it to otherwise. My husband and I had the most wonderful cycling tour of some of the smaller more unknown temples in the Angkor Wat complex. We felt very safe with good helmets and were led by our great guide ‘K’. We cycled through well paved trails through a jungle environment in lovely heat. If we needed to rest we could and the short sections on the road were not difficult. We were able to access some beautiful smaller temples that we would not have seen otherwise. A truly unique way to travel around the beauty of Angkor Wat. I would highly recommend this tour.
