Mabamba Bay ist ein Feuchtgebiet am Rande des Viktoriasees, nordwestlich der Entebbe-Halbinsel. Es ist eines von Ugandas 33 wichtigen Vogelgebieten und seit 2006 ein Feuchtgebiet von internationaler Bedeutung. Die wichtigsten geschützten Vogelarten in Mabamba sind der Schuhschnabel, die blaue Schwalbe und der Papyrus gonolek. Mabamba Bay ist eine einzigartige, ausgedehnte Sumpflandschaft, die sich entlang einer schmalen, von Papyrus gesäumten Bucht in Richtung des Hauptkörpers des Viktoriasees erstreckt.

East African Jungle knocked it out of the park! We went Gorilla trekking, bird watching for the Shoe bill, Chimp trekking and River Safari. and they all were amazing we saw gorrilas, chimps, shoe bills, lions and all on the first try! Ronnie our guide was amazing, a real down to earth guy, great guide, and an excellent driver. Ronnie made us feel safe and secure, and he was really personable. He really went out of his way to go above and beyond. When booking your tours ask for Ronnie. Ruth and Ronnie kept all lines of communication open and were always reachable. Ruth was very pleasant and helped us out with any issues we had. If your going to tour Uganda do it with East African Safari!
